As far as I know, only top 7 (or 8?) top players can have access to WTA Finals, depending on their ranking points.
Well, I was reading another thread on the match Kvitova defeating Goerges and I read a sentence saying
"Looking forward to their next indoor match in Singapore".
Now, I assume you would refer to WTA Finals.
If AT THIS MOMENT, Goerges is #12 and Kvitova #11, how can you say they will join the WTA Finals?!
Moreover, to qualify for the WTA Finals, WTA players compete throughout the year in over 53 tournaments plus the Slams.... AT THIS MOMENT, they played only AO and you can't know now what their position in the ranking will be.
Am I wrong?
Out of curiosity - What does "UEs" stand for?
"Goerges played out of her mind. Making just single digit UEs in every set".
Thank you.
