I've never seen someone fall for so many drop shots. Vondrousova completely owned Svitolina with the same shot over and over, she didn't have an answer for it, most of them were to the backhand side.
She was drop shotting Svitolina to deathCouldn't watch any today. Surprise that Von took Elina so easy since yesterday she was looking tired and honestly pushing so much.
The line plastic caught her sneak on the slide. Clay courts SUUUKKK and Rome is the worst of all .So much class from Vika.
This article contains the videos of the injury and the aftermath.

I think Mugu will be a top 3 pick for RG alongside Halep - not sure who else makes up my 3, Azarenka maybe?Muguruza fought well but Halep should have wrapped it up earlier.
It seems Pliskova just walks to these finals but cannot show up at slams on the whole. Really hoping Halep takes the crown tomorrow!Karolina over Marketa in straights, so #1 v. #2 for the title.
If Halep pulls it off, along with winning in Rome today, she's back to #1. I had assumed Barty was just too far ahead for anyone to catch her.Halep has come to play. Up the double break 3-0.
It's so exciting to see who's going to win the French Open.
Can Halep add slam #3? Can Serena break her hoodoo? Can we get another surprise winner? Can one of the women who have evaded a slam like Svitolina, Bertens or Pliskova finally push through? Last years champ Barty out along with Andreescu and Osaka. So many stories to come.
Think you might have the wrong info? Halep would still be at leat 1400+ points behind Barty. If Halep pulls it off, along with winning in Rome today, she's back to #1. I had assumed Barty was just too far ahead for anyone to catch her.
Any idea what's wrong with her? I presume no apparent physical ailment - maybe a sickness? Or just pure shock from the 1st set beat down?Pliskova retires wow.
She had something touched up around her lower abdomen area if I remember quickly but was switching between streams. Honestly didn't seem all that genuine in that I wouldn't expect her to withdraw from RG but I could be wrong, it all happened rather fast.Any idea what's wrong with her? Congrats to Halep - that SF W over Mugu in 3 was big and I felt she would handle Pliskova with more ease to be frank.
I'm really looking forward to RG now! Hoping we get some big clashes - I'd like to see Halep v Azarenka and Mugu v Serena.

And? Halep can gain 1570 points with a Roland Garros title.Think you might have the wrong info? Halep would still be at leat 1400+ points behind Barty.
Ash doesn't lose any points from skipping the USO/RG etc. She essentially has #1 locked up til year end.
WTA rules were you keep your best result at a tournament from 2019 or 2020. So it benefited Barty.
