G.O.A.T.
I felt like this deserved it's own thread. It has been discussed before, especially when guys prefer hats over visors. What about rare instances when the ladies that prefer hats over visors?

Please feel free to post pictures and discuss WTA ladies wearing hats.

Then...

Swiatek wears hats.

Now...

Most of us only remember her wearing headbands and bandanas.

Yeah, I don't remember her wearing backwards caps in her early days either; certainly both photos I posted are from her later career. In fact that second pic is from her 2006 US Open mixed doubles run, and I've seen other photos where she wore it with the duckbill to the front [as below]. So it wasn't even a consistent choice within the confines of a single match.

I wish we had extended footage of those matches so we could maybe catch her switching it around.

What's more rare (or maybe just as rare?) than ladies wearing hats (vs visors) is players wearing sunglasses.
Meredith McGrath wore sunglasses during matches. I used to see her around the La Costa tournament in the mid-to-late 1990s. She had an endorsement deal with Oakley.

Natasha Zvereva also wore sunglasses. I saw her wearing sunglasses during indoor matches at the Oakland Arena in the 1990s, so I assumed she had an endorsement.

Those who wear sunglasses may be wearing prescription sunglasses. I do. Sometimes it's just too bright to wear regular glasses.

Any players wearing bucket hat, like Brad Gilbert's?

I think not, very not aerodynamic, would've probably been blown away with one fast run to a dropshot. :D
