Was Navratilova still having normal schedule when she's 35?
Give Serena and Roger a break, she/he wants to do part time and that's fine.
Navratilova, near as dammit, had a full playing schedule until she was 37 (singles & doubles). And just doubles way beyond that.
And, in fairness, how often has Williams played a full season?

She also won a GS title in mixed doubles with 49. I doubt Serena would ever be able to do that.

I didn't even have the chance to watch a bit of Tashkent's final, as Gasparyan steamrolled Potapova 6-1 6-2. Yikes... But I'm glad for Gasparyan. Nice to see her snatching a WTA title after all those injuries.

Sabalenka on the verge of winning another title this year, but now it may be a Premier 5. Already up a set and a break.

It'll be very interesting to see how will she back up this year's achievements in the next season, now she's turning into a known and desirable to beat entity.

As soon as you put Roger and Serena in the same league you lost all of your credibility. You’d be blind if you couldn’t see the contributions Roger has made for tennis over so many years and the deep love he has for the sport. What has Serena Williams done other than self serving bs? How is Roger greedy in traveling around the world hitting a yellow fluffy ball at 37 so that hepis fans so see him? Does he need the money? Does he need records as if at 37 he can easily have a few more of them? You don’t know him at all if you believe he’ll take a lifelong WC to play Wimbledon to lose in first round. By the way if he did so for the purpose that his fans can ‘have the pleasure of watching him win’, that’s barely a greedy intent.
He’s chasing slams and trying to preserve his record against Rafa and Novak. It’s not all that different from what she’s doing.

It’s darkly hilarious to see all the non-fans of SW complain that she is ::not:: playing. When she’s playing, she’s an annoyance and when she’s not playing, she’s an annoyance too.

And when she retires, that too will be an annoyance for some reason or another.

Serena will be training her daughter for the world to see. Hiring Zina Garrison as her fitness coach.
