This is a massive win for Qinwen, beating Sakkari and Krejcikova to win her first 500 is legit. She got a huge potential and she showed it here.

Qinwen now at #19 in the rankings. Only Gauff is younger and ranked above her now.

Happy for two of my favorites in the WTA, Fernandez and Pegula, who both won titles this weekend. Very glad to see Pegula live up to her seeding and Fernandez looking so good. She was just pasting the ball in that final; Siniakova looked like she didn't know what hit her.

Pegula playing and winning a 250 is like throwing a shark into a goldfish pond, but others have stumbled in similar situations (Garcia comes to mind). So, some credit I guess.
