This trophy ceremony is so wholesome and cool ! This final was great, congrats to Ons and to Belinda as well.

I was surprised by how warm they were to one another at the net, and in the ceremony. They seem to genuinely like each other, which is fine and nice, but during the match some of their reactions made me think there was some hostility between them. Both players had dismissive reactions to balls catching lines in important spots, or at least that was my interpretation. Anyway, it was a fun match. And Benic looks fantastic in those shorts! Even my wife commented on it.

What the heck was that just now ? Collins just Tanked in the 3rd set against rogers. Its like she didn't want to be there and wanted out and take the appearance money and get out of dodge. maybe she didn't like that new Technifiber racket ??

So Collins stuck around and won the doubles (with Krawczyk). Hope that gives her momentum going forward, she's had some rough losses in 2023 so far.
