She will be happy because she now has a reason for her lost if she looses this match! It all about psychology of winning and loosing. Blame it on the court being rigged helps a lot!
 
Yulia has blown at least a 2-point lead in every game this set. All over but the racket tap theatrics.
 
Over. Not sure I’ve ever seen a breadstick where the loser had at least a 2-pt lead in 5 of the 6 dropped games.

Racket tap wasn’t bad though.

I know it’s a little late to be asking, but are fans allowed at the Charleston Open? When I watch the highlights I see people (not a lot) in the stands. I thought tickets weren’t available?

Badosa doing good still in the second set. On serve at 2-3. I pulling for the NYC foreigner to win this match against the #1!
 
There have been some rather large upsets on the green-ish clay this week. Funny thing is there’s a 250 here next week too that some of the same players are entered in.
 
Hate to see Barty lose, she's a classy and talented person. But Badosa was probably brought up on clay.
Alize Cornet said she wasn't playing her best because the switch from hard to clay was too soon.
 
Tennis World Live says Stephens will defeat Kudy.
Britwatch Sports gives Kudy a 53% edge.
Last Word in Sports says Kudy in 3. They've made the wrong prediction on all three previous QFs, so maybe it's safe to assume Stephens will win.
 
Announcer gave away that the Sloane match might be scripted. After saying Sloane and Kudermetova have only been broken twice this week he said “well Sloane just made it a third” before she even started serving. Then there was silence and he sounded like he whispered sorry.

Could that have been the time lag that sometimes occurs between actual play and the broadcast? Sometimes I follow scores on Google or some other site, and there's a lag of about 30-45 seconds - TC often shows a point result later than it's actually been made, and I take that to be caused by commercial breaks & TC needing to catch up the time the commercial overran?
 
No, I’ll explain how it actually happened. Lindsay said these two players had only been broken twice coming into this match. Then Ted correctly pointed out after Sloane’s first service game that is was now a third time.

I just rewound the DVR to confirm.

Rewind it again Bc you are wrong. Kudermetova held to lead 1-0. Then when Sloane was gonna serve he said Sloane now made it a third time
