Watching Stanford match between Tomlajanovic and Diatchenko. There is no one, literally no audience in the crowd.

I wonder why Coco isn't playing in Stanford? She was a finalist there a couple years back and she's a Californian.

Edit: She lost to McHale? She didnt have a chance anyway lol.

I love Krunic, hopefully she won't have that tough of a 1st round at the US..

I've not seen Aleksandra in singles action but I was impressed with playing chops in doubles this afternoon. At 5'4" she looked tiny next to her partner, 5'11" Petkovic. Krunic makes up for her lack of stature with her quickness around the court -- one of her major strengths. Decent serve, good hands (touch & placement) and a lot of fun to watch. Seems like she was serving bigger than her taller partner and their opponents.

Really surprised that they lost to Dabrowski & Rosolska. I believe that Krunic was serving at match point in the 2nd set (a deciding no-ad point). An error by Krunic at that match point cost them dearly. The score was now even at 5-5. Their opponents took it to 6-6 and won the set TB. They then played that lame match TB format (gawd I hate it). Krunic & Petkovic lost that one 10-12. Disappointed that they lost the match even tho' it seemed that they outplayed their more seasoned opponents for most of 2 sets.

Not too bad for their 1st showing as a doubles team. I believe that Dabrowski & Rosolska have played some 40+ matches together in the past 2 years.

This is EXTREMELY controversial.

CHANGE IN PLAY: The match between Bank of the West Classic No. 2 seed Agnieszka Radwanska and Misaki Doi originally scheduled for Wednesday evening has been moved to Thursday day session. The change in schedule was made at the request of medical staff in order to give Radwanska some additional time to recover from a recent injury.

We all know if Doi's back was hurting, this match ain't rescheduled. Would just be a walkover for Aga.

I know you're down there, but Tennis Ch has been carrying all-day coverage of DC this week. That match will definitely make the cut.

Kuznetsova withdraws from tournament, Sloane into QF.
I don't mean to celebrate someones injury/withdrawal but woo!

Stosur facing Niculescu in QF who she leads 5-0 in h2h, crushed her at the Aus Open earlier this year.
Most likely face Sloane in SF. Repeat of the Strasbourg SF where she defeated her in 3 sets (giving her a bagel in the 3rd). So she should win that.
Potential final against well who knows from the top draw?! Makarova, Bencic, Begu. Could be anyone!

Stosur and consistency don't go together. She won a title recently . I am surprised she has won 2 rounds without any fuss.

What did he say? My wife thinks he said "Calm the F down right now" but I'm not convinced  She didn't seem uncalm o_O

"Ali...shut the f*@# up right now, OK?" I suppose that's one way to derail a tennis player's low-confidence rant.

If Doi was injured prior to her 1st round they probably would have brought in a Lucky Loser qualifier to play Aga. However, it is a 2nd round for Doi but 1st round for ARad. Perhaps BOW would have added an exhibition match if Aga didn't have an opponent for her 1st match.

The tournament is banking on Keys, Wozniacki and Radwanska. Let the organizers not go bankrupt.

Now they don't have Keys, Petkovic or Navarro to bank on.

Poor Caro. Keep wondering how she's top 10 currently with only 1 International title in Malaysia. Move she loses those US Open final points she will fall hard :(
