Hasn't Errani been really successful at Acapulco in the past? A vague memory she's won it a couple of times. Is Errani still underarm serving? She won through qualies and her R1 match in Acapulco - gets Wang Xiyu next.

That's right - Errani won it twice whilst it was a clay event.Acapulco used to be clay.
Just an indication that there are a lot of young, talented & dangerous WTA players in the top 30+ who are capable of taking down those in the top 10. Dayana, like Sofia and Cori, appear to be the future of the WTAKenin dumped out in R1 of Doha in straight sets by Yastremska... Yikes!
Good 3rd set between Jabeur and Pliskova
Yea she got game that is for sure. I hope she is ok for next match she tweaked her knee pretty good at the end of the 3rd set. GoodJabeur has been around for a while. She’s a great ball striker with a lot of variety and guile. It seems as though her game is coming together as she is now at highest ranking now (#38) after this win.
Any details on why Amanda pulled out? The story I saw is rather vague. Rather poor showing at both AO and Dubai. 2 well-fought rounds at Doha and then withdraws before a match vs the Kuz (who she should probably beat if she is playing decently).Anismova gives Kutznetsova the WO.
It only just occurred to me that this could have been a Mugu vs Kenin rematch! Glad Mugu has now had 2 straight sets wins in a row - a sigh of relief for her fans, for once!2 & 4 for Garbine over Yastremska to end the day.
With no disrespect intended, the Acapulco draw now looks more like an ITF event - a real opportunity for someone to grab a tour title here.
A potential QF between former junior slam champs Fernandez and Potapova.
Shockingly good win. She's definitely on her way to the top 100 and beyond.
Volynets has one of the worse serves I have ever seen. Just had 3 dfs in last game of set, one that bounced first before it hit net. She should be spending all her time reworking that serve.
I believe the latterwtf just turned it on and she must have a severe shoulder problem or that is the worst serve in the history of pro tennis.
Serve was very very good for the match in first round and until Midway through second set.I believe the latter
Definitely think so. Petra dominated the H2H 4-0 to start but Ash has got the hang of it now tying it 4-4. The pair met 5 times last year, seems to be one of the more common and best matchups on tour.Barty takes it 6-1 6-7 6-2
I was expecting straight sets once I saw Ash had breadsticked Mugu in the 1st set, so I guess nabbing a set makes being her fan a tad easier.
Kvitova vs Barty in the semis - is this becoming Barry's biggest rivalry?
Watson has struggled since mono to achieve consistency. But I'm pleased she's battled on.So it's Fernandez vs Zarazua, and Watson vs Wang Xiyu in the SFs.
Arguably Fernandez vs Wang would be most interesting as they seem to be of the 'NextGen' on the WTA, but a Zarazua title win would be great too.
As a Brit, I want to see Heather win, but only if she becomes more consistent from now on.
I think she's only 27, still? I mean, many players achieved their best results at 29-32 so I do have hope for her - but maybe they had more firepower and craft? I'm thinking Li, Pennetta, Schiavone, Stosur, Goerges etcWatson has struggled since mono to achieve consistency. But I'm pleased she's battled on.

Any videos posted are a bonus. And you posted a match from last week, got it.
Yeah, the latter stages of tournaments generally show who can keep their cool. Fernandez won a junior slam last year, so I guess that's a big stage/big match situation even if it's only juniors. Wang Xiyu did the same at the end of 2018. Watson has a few WTA titles under her belt already, but I wonder how much she will doubt herself if she gets closer. Zarazua has the home crowd which can be a huge bonus for some people, but also a huge weight for others... It's a tough one! It's time for Wang! But will not surprise if any of the 4 took the title
I'm hoping Barty wins. And I really like Kvitova, but the game needs a reliable, consistent no.1.So glad Kvitova is running deep again. Hopefully she leaves her usual UEs at home and blasts her way out of Barty in the semi.
