Perfect summation. I agree wholeheartedly, though I hope Rafa does the impossible and Rafanates him. This past year he's been playing conservatively all tournament and saving his best for the finals.I'm not sure the facts bear out this opinion. 14-7, and 6-2 in majors doesn't lie. Nadal at his best cannot be beaten by Federer. Ever.
That said I think Federer could win in straights tomorrow. Federer had an easy match, a day off before his semi, Nadal will be doing his 3rd day in a row, it's maybe his least favorite surface, and he's coming off a year with achievements no one in history has ever done (three majors in a row on different surfaces, etc.). I would expect a let down for sure. I'll say Federer in 2.
