Looks like a difficult group for Nadal to come out. Time for revenge Rafa! Djokovic and Davydenko have all beaten him the last few month. Interesting to see how Soderling does against Rafa on indoor though.
 
i expect federer and murray to go through group A.

i expect djoko and soderling to go through group B with nadal accumulating 3 losses.

Agree with Group A. But for Group B I think Davydenko will get his revenge against Soderling and come out with 2 wins and 1 loss to Djokovic.

Thats cruel!:twisted: Honestly I'd expect Rafa to at least get one win. Most likely from Soderling.

3. delpo- 1 win

All I know is that if Nadal makes it out of his group everyone will somehow warp history to say

So, I doubt he'll get any credit for getting out of the group and winning the tournament.

So, just to set the record straight - before the tournament began no one gave Nadal a realistic chance to win and almost everyone agreed that his draw is too tough

Can't believe the number of people tipping Murray to win all 3. He was OK in Valencia and quite pants in Paris - I don't think he's got the form to win all 3.

Coping to the occasion? Soderling? The player who knocked Rafa out of the tournament most had predicted a Nadal victory before the start of the clay season.

Coping to the occasion won't be a problem for Soderling of all people, if he is fit enough, he will deliver.

I agree with you. Nadal has always made the semifinals of TMC when he has played it. I don't see why that should be any different this time. Nadal has a winning record over Djokovic and Soderling and plays Davydenko tough most of the time.

Rafa always steps up to the plate when he has to and I expect that at the least he will get to the SF ala Venus with 1 win and 2 losses. But true to recent form I see him being ***** in the SF yet again by either Federer or Murray/Delpo.

And fresh. That's a pretty formidable combination at this time of year. Now I see the draw, I make Roger favourite to win the whole thing, followed by Novak, then Murray. Rafa heads up the best of the rest - there's a reason why only 1 of his 36 titles and 3 of his 47 finals have happened under a roof.

You sure about the stuff in group 1? I think Murray will beat Fed to be honest... Although despite that, I don't actually see Murray winning all three of his RR matches.

I'm sure that's what I think will happen. Murray would need to up his game to a level he's not shown since his return in order to beat Roger - and I'm no tconvinced that will happen.

I think JMDP needs to be 100% fit to beat Murray on an indoor hardcourt in front of 20000 Brits and again, I'm no convinced he will be.

Murray's H2H with Verdasco speaks for itself.

I don't think it would be too crazy if Nadal gets out of his group.

He might surprise us all and show up completely in-form and start dominating play.

He certainly surprised quite a few people, especially his fans, when he beats Tsonga in Paris. And in an interview after his Djokovic loss, Nadal said he feels very confident and that he's taking the positives from his Tsonga win with him to London rather than any negatives from his loss against Djokovic.

I don't think Djokovic can keep up his level for 3/4 weeks of this month. I really don't. He's got to dip in level.

Davydenko can beat Nadal, sure, but Nadal beat Davy in 2006 at the Master's Cup- he knows how to beat Kolya at this time of year.

And, hopefully, Nadal has some fire in his belly against Soderling. Revenge is a dish best served cold.

Now that's a good reply! Great not to see hatred on this forum all the time (and I don't mean you Blinkism) :)

Personally, although I've always been a Fed fan, I just want to see some great tennis, and may the best man win!

And hopefully I WILL get to see some good tennis, got tickets for Tuesday's games and also the daytime semis on Sat :twisted:
