Year end tennis resort

Is there a good place for tennis vacation during Christmas New Year time? Something like an all inclusive resort with tennis courts and maybe a coach around?

I really liked the Nosara area of Costa Rica when I was there a few years ago. There is a club there that has lodging (see link), my family just found an Airbnb though. The rainy season will be over and the beaches are great. When I was there they had two clay courts in the middle of town as well. The only thing is you'll probably have to rent a 4WD car to get to Nosara (roads were bad) which adds some expense. Edit found the other courts.

The ones in Spain looking really good.
never been to an all inclusive tennis resort, but i have been to barcelona... tennis is ubiquitous...
i scheduled hitting lessons in the am for a couple hours, then did the touristy thing the rest of the days,
then took breaks when was too tired, went drinking, slept late, etc...

that said, my days of playing 4-6h/d are long gone...

I definitely can't play more than 2 hrs a day with all the eating and drinking in a vacation mode....

side note, if you go to barcelona, i visited quite a few places, and took "local roads" via scooter... takes longer, but fun daredevil way to see the city

which club? am planning a trip..
famous ones i visited: sanchez, brugera (far - but pretty drive on a scooter! [edit] appears to be closed now), a few more near my hotel
  • playing here was the highlight of my trip (as far as tennis destinations): https://www.rctb1899.es/
    • met a member (~low4.0?), i basically gave a couple lessons for free, but got to play at an exclusive club
but spent most of my time with this guy: https://www.youtube.com/@tennisfitapp
  • he was a beast... i had to rest quite a bit hitting with him... hit big & heavy... had to rest every 20m or so because his spin was so heavy
  • back then he travelled to me, used to work at sanchez, and pointed out the popular often less used courts in the area
  • (not sure if he's still in barca... originally he's from germany)
as you'll see in my notes below, some local clubs won't have pros/hitting partners for 4.5+

lol here are my tennis notes from that trip:
  • don't forget to visit camp nou... messi not there anymore, but IMO a must to visit a european football stadium/game if you have a chance... even a blow out game... and make sure to position yourself on the goal side of the weaker team for the 2nd half (when i went barca scored 3 in the 2nd half - folk get tired, etc...)
[edit] not sure why all the links are going to the same place... will need to copy/paste the text, and put into your browser... (vs. doubleClick the link)... also some links no longer work.... this is from 4-5y ago...
