Yonex/Babolat & 18x20 String Pattern?

How come Yonex don't make racquets in 18x20 string pattern? I hit with the MP RDS 001 and liked the feeling when hitting groundstrokes especially on the 2 backhand side. But found that it was difficult to flatten out the ball. Wish they would introduce an RDS series racquet in an 18x20 string pattern.

With Babolat... I'm just going to guess that since they are so powerful, you need the spin to keep the ball in court, thats just my guess but I dont really care much about them.

Babolat racquets are all surprisingly similar... stiff, 98-100head, and an open string pattern... NOW with rubber rings around them!

yonex had the rdx 500 HD, which was 18x20. maybe they will introduce an rds version?

There is an older Yonex model - Ti 70 Long that is 18 x 20. Ti 70 is a beautiful Ferrari Red colored frame.

RDX 500 HD came with 16 x 20 string pattern; no 18 x 20.

^interesting, i could ahve sworn it was 18x20 but i googled it and KONA*SPORTS says that it is 18x20 while GOLF*SMITH says that it is 16x20...

You know the 16 x20 sounded pretty weird.

Googled again and confirmed your findings to be right on > 18x20 OH Well!
