@levy07 You've hit around with the racquet... any thoughts on stability? We'd love to know your thoughts! And yours as well, @Subaruvichwhat about stability?
what about stability?
Which one? The EZONE 98 or 100?about this racquet and the ULTRA tour, i am excited
i preordered the 98. have messed w the 100s in the previous two gens and still just cant dig a straight up tweener. love the power on serve, but i need the control and consistency to win. always gravitate back to various grades of light(er) players frames.Which one? The EZONE 98 or 100?
Put a black leather one on it.i preordered the 98. have messed w the 100s in the previous two gens and still just cant dig a straight up tweener. love the power on serve, but i need the control and consistency to win. always gravitate back to various grades of light(er) players frames.
(also the 100 has a white grip which is lame)

@Subaruvich Do you know what the strings were strung at in your EZONE 98?
Drive! Hmmm... sounds interesting. How does it compare to the PolyTour Pro? Softer? The name on the string is PTGD 125, it came in a transparent package together with demo Ezone frames, no name no label on the package. I asked the rep what was that string, he only said the "D" stands for "drive". Thats all he new.
I strung my other Ezone today with nat gut/poly hybrid and I have to say, PTGD 125 feels more comfortable.
Sounds like Yonex enhanced a winning formula? The new EZONE series appears to be very popular with TW staff:

Yes, please! Any news on when it would come to the US, if it even comes to the US? REXIS was supposed to come to the US in May. Still waiting.Softer. Stringer said it's elasticity was more pronounced.

Are you gonna demo before buying? I'm just gonna buy.i'm looking forward to hitting these frames!
Do we know when the TW review of the new Ezone will be up?
If you have to ask that question, then you don't know Mr. @downs_chris. I believe he pre-pre-pre-pre-ordered his. Its highly likely he placed an order before Yonex even conceived of this frame...Are you gonna demo before buying? I'm just gonna buy.
Not sure even Yonex knows the answer to that, yet.Does anyone know if the blue versions will be available in the future?
One more question if you don't mind. I know the DR's need a liitle weight added to the hoop to add stability and power potential. In your opinion does the new Ezone 98 need any added weight in the hoop ?Yes, if not even more. No issues in this department.

Have they got the twist weights messed up.too as that's quite important
Perhaps material sciences have helped develop a lighter, stabler material? Numbers tell half the story. I still look forward to trying it out.Lower TW, lower SW yet more head heavy and lighter. Crap alert for me. Looks like they took Dr 98 and took some mass out, relocated it at the poles then. The only con I found in yonex dr is stability and plow but it was easily fixable with lead not much needed. Based on the specs from TWU they made the bad thing even worse.
Im gonna stick to DR unless Andy jumps from the air with his green yonex destroying some white walkers
If it's stiffer and doesn't bring innovations in comfort, then most likely Yes. But no one will know unless they try it for himself/herself.I just want to know.. Is it going to hurt my shoulders like the Dr 100 did?

Sure this might be just a number. I like green pj thats for sure hehe. Frame is a bit stiffer so this can lead to more forgiveness which some perceive as more stability. My favourite paintjobs so far were green blade from 2015. Kblade (black gold) , Gsp white black, Xî whitish again. This ezone is cool but i feel that it could be betterPerhaps material sciences have helped develop a lighter, stabler material? Numbers tell half the story. I still look forward to trying it out.
Yonex claiming 16% improvement in dampening with the Quake Shut Gell Air.
Great call out! And with the right strings for the user, it could be just fine. @galapagos What did you use in the DR98 when you had it or demoed it?
Also tried tecnifibre pro red code 1.25 and pro hurricane tour( dont remember the gauge) at around 23 kg. I think pro red code was slightly better. Still think hyper g should be a better match but never played with it on drGreat call out! All this 2018 yonex talk got me re-stringing one of my oldies but goodies I Will compare it to the new ones!
