Yonex Ezone 98 Tour (2020) - Touch Up Paint Color?

Hi there, for any owners of the Yonex Ezone 98/98+/Tour/etc 2020 lineup, we definitely feel the pain of the paint chipping easily. This probably goes for a lot of non-matte finished racquets but if anyone has chipped their Ezone 98 in the dark blue regions (top of the racquet) and has repaired it using touch up paint or of some sort, could you please link your results and the actual touch up paint itself? I definitely want to cover up some paint chips in the dark blue regions.

Im really interested in how you chip this paint? I mean it is 10 times more durable than Wilson and mine look almost unused.

quite the opposite for me, i walked into a tennis pole with my racket in my hand and it chipped a small piece

I bought a 2020 ezone 98 a few weeks ago. It chips way easier than the ai and Dr 98. What used to be court rash is now chips coming off.

yeah i agree, it chips really easily right? Did you manage to find the right touch up paint for it

I just strung my buddy's two new Ezone Tours on my Ghost II and the supports dug into the the clear coating and he is super butt hurt about it. Hes showing the paint to everyone like I did something wrong rofl.

The paint looks amazing because it has that vibrant paint covered by something like polyurethane or UV coating or some crap like that. Looks really similar to the kind of finish you use on acoustic guitars, which will indent with just a fingernail.
Way too wimpy to be used on a tennis racket. Yes it looks great but jeez use something more reliable.

So guys you’d better not by any Wilson or Head if you manage to scratch this one :)
my wilson blade was slammed into the ground by accident with an overhead that i did and it just scuffed a bit, no chip or big scratch or anything LOL

Have to disagree only 1%. The head gravity in any form has very durable paint, specifically the red and blue. But any other wilson/head? I could put it on the floor and it chips.

the new wilson blades chip? its like a matte finish right, so those haven't chipped for me

Mine chipped easily, really small chips...on the first day. My PT2.0 with 3 months of daily play, nothing just scratches on the bumpers.

Should I use a blue sharpie then?

I was thinking about metallic dark blue touch up paint, but i just want to see if anyone else has experience so i know which one exactly to buy

I used a dark blue oil based paint, looks pretty good up close and arm length looks like new.

Oh

Oh sick that looks good, could you send a picture of the paint so I could get it as well? I used a blue sharpie and it's not that bad LOL
It's a local Mexican brand but any deep rich blue oleo paint will do fine I think. Oleo is water resistant and sticks well to a lot of surfaces
