Yonex fans -- R-22 info needed

I just bought one of these at my local Goodwill store for $1.99 and hit with it today. Even with the very old Leoina 66 string job, the R-22 is a solid, comfortable feeling racquet. I'm not very knowledgeable on Yonex--my only experience with it is the R-7, which I played with for about 6 months, and the old green and gold aluminum models. Can anyone give me the lineage of the R-22? What is the current Yonex that would be considered most like it (if there is one). I see that the R-22 is available in the Bosworth collection but the info on TW is the limit of my knowledge about this racquet. Thinking I might put some new strings in mine and play with it for a while. Any info is appreciated.

The R-22 is a classic flexy stick. It was popular on the pro tour many years ago. In fact, I believe Martina N. was using this stick when she went on her phenomenal runs. She earned many tournament trophies with the R-22 in her hands.

Power pads are usually used on mains when stringing to help reduce the sharp angle. I played with this stick for years and really enjoyed it, although I eventually moved into the wide body revoluation in order to get some more oomph. It is underpowered by today's standards.

Enjoy!
