yonex grip shapes differ in line

I have a '22 ezone in grip 3 and its a little big, percept grip 2 is too small but vcore pro 97h grip 3 that is almost perfect. Anyone find similar problems? If anyone has the percept in grip 2 is it the same as ezone grip 2?

Ideally I would like to use the ezone so am wondering if the ezone in a grip 2 is any bigger than a percept in a grip 2?

I got 6 Ezone 98’s, three v core 98’s, three precept 100’s and a Regna 98. All are grip size 3 and all feel exactly the same.

Probably not a very useful information for you, but felt that the Vcore Pro 97 and 97D L3 was a little smaller than the Vcore 95 2023 L3. I had to wrap my OG with a very big overlap on the Vcore Pro after even considering looking for a L4 grip.

do they all have the same base grip? Also, grips compressing over time can affect size.

Buy some digital calipers if that concerns you so you may know the measurements of what feels right.

Yonex uses a paste under their stock grip that I’ve noticed is not applied with a consistent thickness. Other brands tend to use a sheet of adhesive that bunches up and bothers me as well. All new sticks get new grips for my sanity.

The one outlier I have in my yonex stash is the ‘21 vcore. It feels significantly more square than any of my other yonex sticks.

All of mine have felt the same except the Regna 98. I have multiple Regna 98s and they all feel more like a L2.5 than an L3. So much so that when I went back to the VC95 the L3 grip felt too big for me to use.

Hi @Vicious49 ... how would you compare EZ98 to Regna 98? I've been playing with EZ98 for a while but thinking about picking up Regna 98 v3. How does SW compare?

My Percept L2 feels slightly bigger than Ezone L2, Regna 98 L2 feels in between these two.
