Yonex - Grip Specification Differences

Anyone else with a Yonex DG97 330, DR98 or new Yonex racquet experience similar:

I recently swapped out the stock/standard Yonex grip from my DG97 330 for a leather grip. When I weighed the grip that had been taken off it weighed approx. 12grams. I've been told by Yonex that the stock/standard replacement grip is their AC126EX, which weights approx. 20.8 grams, uncut prior to install? How is it that there could be an almost 8 gram difference in the grip weight between the replacement grip and stock grip if they are supposed to be the same?

The AC126EX has the following specifications:

Width = 25mm
Length = 1200mm
Thickness = 1.5mm

Don't know about the AC126EX, but I've had a few Yonex frame, and all their grips are very thin, and very light (10-11g). I actually love them for customizing other racquets, especially if you need to increase the grip size without adding too much weight. Regarding the AC126EX, It's probably a typo by Yonex, cause I doubt a 1.5 mm grip (among the thinniest I've known) would weight more than 10-12 grams, unless it's made of leather.

The AC126EX is their "Super Leather Tour Grip" which is synthetic or polyurethane.

I don't know if that's the grip used on Yonex frames but the difference in weight is to big.
Installed original Yonex grip is 12g at most and thin as paper.
