Yonex Percept 97 vs Ezone 98

Hello,
I have the possibility to change one of my ezone 98 2022 with the yonex percept 97.
never played with a 97 Racket.

-how about the Percept Forgiveness on off center shots, is it like virtually playing a bigger sweetspot?
With My yonex ezone i dont have the impression of playing a 98“ racket. It s more likely a 100“ feeling.

-how about the power potential? Due to arm issues im gonna play with a multi full bed or hybrid multi/soft poly, do i really have to generate my own power to hit like a rocket? I played with the speed pro with pt strike and after an hour of heavy hitting i noticed difficulties in reaching deeper shots.
im a 35yo female advanced player (180cm,80kg). Sfter recovering from my rotator cuff injury i will be able to generate power by myself but the racket is 3gr heavier as the ezone. If i dont have a bit of free power through the multi strings and the lower tension dont think i can handle 3 hours heavy hitting competitions.

-i am having issues with my shoulder, is it more arm friendly than the ezone?does it feel easier to swing?do yout notice the heavy weight?
Most probably my injury comes from this heavy hitting without muscles training and long streching.

I'm not a doctor, but if you're having shoulder issues because of heavy hitting without muscles training and long stretching, maybe start training muscles and stretching long. Could change rackets too, but why not stretch?

Any new racquets are subject to honeymoon period but you will regret moving to percept 97 from ezone. You will at some point in time need some free power and percept will give u hard time in giving that.

Yes of course this is the plan with muscle training but the change with the ezone it would be 1:1 without paying something thats why i wrote the thread. If i am not able to use tje ezone because of injury or because of the higher swingweith and stiffness than the percept or ezone 98L can be an alternative.

I did that mistake. Percept 97 is truly amazing stick with very good feel, But Ezone for me was better at serve, put away power and I could shape the ball more. Eventually had to buy again the Ezone.
Test before taking that call

I have the 97D.
It's very comfortable and has lots of control but it will make you work for spin and kick on serves.
If you persevere with it it will definitely improve your technique.

The Percept is a much more comfortable racquet, with way better feel. It needs 3-4g added to 10/2 & 10g added to tail. The Ezone 98 is easy power & more forgiving. The Percept is incredible on serve too, witj the added weight.
