Hello TW playtesters. First, thank you for all the great reviews, your team does a great job. My question is will any of the playtesters be testing Yonex Poly Tour Fire? Being a round poly, the string intrigues me as a cross string that won't damage a gut main like a rough or shaped poly, and I notice Angie Kerber is using it as a cross-string with gut mains. We found Poly Tour Fire to have a medium firm feel for a co-poly and offered great control. There are definite similarities between it and Poly Tour Spin G. Like Poly Tour Spin G, the low-friction surface wears down and the strings tend to stick more toward the end of their life. We found it would be perfect for advanced players who want a poly that errs on the side of control.
