agreeBoth strings are similar - soft and surprising amounts of spin for a round co-poly but there are differences. Main two being that YPTP is lower powered and maintains playability longer than Head Lynx - YMMV.
Lynx gave so much consistency in my experience shots just always go in, although I was playing with a low power 2015 pro staffPersonally, I like PTP more, also it depends on the rackets. PTP gives me more control compared to Lynx. But I did enjoy the Lynx/Velocity hybrid in GPro. Currently using Ezone 98 2022, PTP just feels right with it.
are you sure you are thinking about h.lynx and not h.lynx. touch? h.lynx touch is even softer than regular lynx... lynx touch would be more like cream to me. h.sonic.pro is similar to reg. h.lynx I thought.-these are 2 different class of strings
-h.lynx is a very SOFT copoly in comperason
-y.ptp is a new gen. copoly, comfortable, YES!!, but not SOFT like h.lynx, more like a h.lynx.TOUR, IMO
-h.lynx belongs in the realm of isospeed.CREAM, y.pt.FIRE, lux.smart, lux.savage
-yptPRO is similar to h.sonic.PRO/EDGE, tec.ICE-code, tec.BLACK-code, lux.alu.power/rough
-IMO/IME h.lynx is soft, very softare you sure you are thinking about h.lynx and not h.lynx. touch? h.lynx touch is even softer than regular lynx... lynx touch would be more like cream to me. h.sonic.pro is similar to reg. h.lynx I thought.
Totally agree-IMO/IME h.lynx is soft, very soft
-h.lynx.TOUCH is even softer!!, like a synthetic gut string
-head.sonic.pro USE TO BE heads softest poly
-until h.lynx showed up in the market
-h,lynx showed up after iso.cream, they are comperable IMO
-but also, how soft a string "feels" is all dependent on the player and/or the racquet its used on
Have you PTP 1.2 yellow? I too like PTP 1.25 but curious about 1.2Head Lynx is ridiculously soft and bouncy almost like a multi. You might not even know with just a couple hits.
PTP is very comfortable, but it still feels like a poly. You’d never wonder what material it was.
PTP is my favorite string, 1.25 yellow.
nice. you like to drop tension a few pounds on cross or keep the same?Try 1.25 mains ptp and 1.20 Ptp in crosses in yonex works very very well
