Hi all.
I have the Yonex Pro 9-pack bag, and Yonex has recently been designing their backpack straps such that the racquet heads point upward when the bag is worn on your back, which is contrary to most bags which have the racquet heads pointed down. This bag is no exception. However, the backpack straps on this bag are detachable, and you can re-attach them in such a way so that you can wear it like a more traditional bag (racquet heads pointed down). Has anyone done this? What are the pros and cons of each orientation?
Obviously, the bag's orientation is meant to be with the racquet heads pointing up, as evidenced by the grab handle on that end. But it can just as easily be worn the other way, while sacrificing access to the grab handle. I typically stand my bags up against the fence/bench instead of laying them on the ground, which allows easy access to the shoe pocket and the grab handle with this bag. Would love to hear your thoughts.
