There's stock in Japan (Akihabara Windsor)->
Visited the Windsor store in Akihabara today. I saw:
3x 100sq Regnas. 2x #3 and 1x #2 grip sizes.
So there was no 98 on display but when I asked staff, there was a #3 grip size 98 in a box that had just come in. If you want it, try asking staff. I would have bought it if it was #2, even though I could use #3...I'm just too set in my ways of having always bought #2 + 2x overgrips.

The 100s were listed at 49500 Yen (including tax I think) so I imagine the 98 would be that same price? So ~322 USD or ~287 Euro?

they should be the same price.....
prices has gone up since i got mine at windsor last May.. I got mine for $249 and free PTP strings.

- Just got a 98 grip 3 from Windsor in Akihabara, they had two grip 3s. Came with free PTP strings.
- $450,000 with the Passport Tax Free pricing. $495,000 normally.
- Was at the Windsor Store in Shibuya yesterday, nothing in stock.
- EDIT: checked in on the Windsor Store in Shinjuku later in the day, nothing in stock.

Just went to the Yonex Show Room in Ginza, the sales rep told me all Regna production has been halted due to a backlog in production. She said it had something to do with an influx in custom orders. I assume this might be the same issue causing a shortage for Ezones for some/everything like the Purple PTP strings.
Will be going to the Osaka showroom next week.
EDIT: Osaka showroom had nothing (checked twice) BUT the Windsor had x5 Grip 3 Regna 98s they had just got in stock.

Sorry, didn't look. Was tempted, so stayed away from checking grip sizes to resist temptation, since I already owned the less popular 100.

All good, just left the store with the last 98.
There were only G2s, and they had about 5-6 100s left.

Yonex might be too busy with the launch of the new Vcore as well as trying to keep up with the demands of producing the Ezones that a new Regna might not be in the foreseeable future?

Harry at Tennis Spin and the Yonex Rep.. did hint of an update is coming...
Can confirm Yonex can barely even make the new 2026 VCore and the current Ezone. They are really struggling hard right now trying to produce even half of the orders being submitted. I think its safe to assume there won't be a new Regna anytime soon considering how much more difficult it is to make those.

Use Wasp strips to weight up to around 13 or 13.5 ounces. I have a longer 27.5 inch Regna 98
Plays like a dream. Can hit deep corners that the Pro Staff can’t get to
And I hitting 70 to 80 mph flat and spin serves easily with it

yes.. while i was there last year.. Yonex showroom had the Regna 10,000yen higher. (approx. $65USD)

You can get the tourist tax rebate at Yonex Showrooms though... but also at Windsor. I believe mine though after the rebate at Windsor came to $45,000yen.
