I like both of these, and the 93 is super fun to swing, but they are a little down on power. I have an F 290g coming that I plan to lead up to see how it plays. I plan on getting it to about 12.1-12.2oz strung to see how it plays. I wonder how the 93 would do with some weight added, even though its already on the heavy side for modifying.

I'd love a report on this, as I've been thinking of doing the same to that frame...

Ive been given F93 from yonex.
Racket was very fast and solid in stock form.
Every shot was smooth, serve, volleys and BH slice were sooooo easily to hit and control with less effort.
But it was 310gr and too light for me.
So I started modifying it.
With depolarised set up, I couldnt hurt my opponent, shots lack penetration and I couldnt hit through my opponent. It felt very slow.
With polarised set up, it was much better, Everything was opposite. Serve was a monster, heavy ball from groundstrokes, volleys with eyes closed
BUT
it wasnt stable. It wasnt comfortable and it was still very fast although heavily leaded.

weight : 336gr without ogrip, no strings. (i dont use dampener)

it wasnt anywhere near my vcore 89T so at the end I gave up

...........

but dont be discouraged, try, maybe it will fit your game. It is very good racket and awesome pj, shame it didnt grow up on my game

Good points. Not all racquets respond well to weight. Some racquets are virtually unmodifiable. This also makes me wonder if all of the VCore tour Fs respond the same way to weight?

depolarised or polarised, specs were the same, but the diference was big. With dep. set up I couldnt hurt my opponent with serve, he killed every return If I wasnt spot on with placement. (serve being my prime weapon)
With pol. set up, every point on my serve barely went more than serve + 1 stroke.

he is national top junior, he cant win set on hcourt against me, and with dep. set up he was leading 52. I took pol. racket and it was 55 ... Now go figure it.
we talked about it during match play and he was surprised how impotent my shots were with dep. set up

I tried with few grams more to gain something from both worlds, but my shoulder responded bad, so basically I hit the roof with weight.

Have to say that I had assistance when customising the racket, and the guy is in stringing & customising racket busines.

now, dont get me wrong, racket was ok with pol. set up, but it was far cry from my customised T89 and I didnt want that.
That doesnt mean that it wont suit you.
It is my experience with it.
I also gave the racket to few good rec players in the club and they were amazed how it plays. Only downside, it was too heavy for them to hit and carry for 2 hours on court.

I guess playing style has a big influence. And I dont like that "modern" feel of todays rackets.

Demo'd the 97 310. Had the classic Yonex feel, with good feel (not great like a players frame but good) and low power. I could really swing at the ball and get it in the lines. Launch angle seemed pretty low but could have been the strings (YPTP). Would buy one but I think the paintjob is ugly haha

I demoed both the 97 and the 93.
I loved the touch of both racquets (dropshots were some of the best I've ever hit), plus I felt that I really could swing out at the ball with them.
The 93 slices amazingly well, also.
I would have bought the 97, however, I ran into one small issue.
I couldn't serve with it.
I couldn't get kickserves to jump off the court like I could with my Radical 18x20.
Also, for some reason, I found myself consistently hitting the netcord on flat serves. I have no idea why. It's almost definitely me, not the racquet, but I've never had that happen before.

The 93, on the other hand, I could absolutely crush serves with.
However, it's a 93. I couldn't be even a tiny bit lazy. So there was very little forgiveness.

I love the F93 for playing doubles . Weighted up to 362g and 10 1/2 points headlight. Good slice serves, excellent vollies and return of serve is a breeze , ground strokes skim the net to make it hard for net man and accuracy is superb. I don't play singles so cannot comment on its effectiveness.

Just picked up a few more F97 310g myself. Been toying with one for a year now but only recently found a setup that works really well in terms of strings, dampener, and lead.
Love it now. I almost sold it too but good thing I couldn't. I demoed a bunch recently (Yonex Tour G 310, Duel G 310 & 330, DR98, xi98, Head GSP, GSMP, GS Touch, Wilson blades, etc.) and ended up not liking any thing more than the F97.
Never liked the feel at all but with a worm dampener now, it just seems to click for me.
Love the 16x21 pattern now with the right string setup. Excellent control and surprising spin production due to the added dwell time. It's pretty comfortable with poly too.

Could you tell me your thoughts about Duel G 310?

Duel G310 played stiffer. Nice crisp feel but not as stable or comfortable as the F97. Loved the G330 version but couldn't really handle its heft unfortunately.

Do you think a litlle weight at 3 and 9 will solve that problems?

Is it so uncomfortable? I mean, could give you elbow pain?

Sorry for the questions, but I'm looking for this racquet and I don't want to be wrong.

Hard to say. I doubt it will feel plush like the 330 with added lead.
If you're concerned with your elbow, the DR98 is excellent in comfort albeit too soft for my preference. That would be my 2nd pick after the Tour F.

I appreciate your comments but I want to stay far from the DR 98. I have had a bad experience with DR 100, and I know, there are too different racquets, but I don´t like that kind of frame. I'm wanting some between 18x20 or 16x20.

100 is wayyyyyyyyy different from the 98....
the 100 is a straight-up tweener.... 98 isn't. I'd give it a try if I were you.

DR100 & DR98 are totally different. Not sure why they're in the same line really other than the similar paint and shape.
The DR98 will still be elbow friendly even with the stiffest poly I think.
