Yonex Vcore 97 HD vs Gravity Pro

I currently use the Gravity Pro and like it. The Yonex Vcore 97 HD interests me too. It is the 18 x 20 version (320g). Has anyone used both these racquets and can compare?

I am using Gravity Pro now, also interested in this topic. My guess is more plow with Gravity but less maneuverable. Will receive a xtc 305 soon, and compare it with Gravity.

What strings and tension do you use? I use Golden Set Power Cord at 48lbs.

Balance is the main difference, I played with the Pro for about 3 months, it is more head heavy or at least the one I bought was, than the HD. Serve and volleys a strength? One handed backhand? Advantage Yonex. Baseliner with a two hander, probably advantage Pro.
How did the plow compare?

The Yonex is a more comfortable stick for the arm, and it's also lower powered, more flexible and more headlight.
The head still has that firmer sensation with its graphene heritage.

I’ve read great reviews on the HD, but that power, plow, large sweetspot and decent spin from the GPro combined with the 18x20 is hard to beat.

Nice! I see you use Luxilon Element - would you happen to know how Cyclone would fare on the Gravity Pro? What should it be strung at as per your suggestion?

For me, 40-45 lbs would be ideal. What I like about the Gpro is I don’t lose control even when stringing down low!

How did the plow compare?
For my style of forehand, I learned to play in the late 80's early 90's the plow through is slightly better with the Yonex, maybe, just maybe, a whippy forehand with wrist snap would have more with the GPro. My backhand is just a rocket cannon that has the same plow through with both, I hit a pretty flat one hander that is my best weapon besides serve.

I don't think a decision on these rackets would be plow through though. If that was your main goal, I would test plus sized extended Yonexes, the Vcore 330 and autogaph Fed.
