ooh, in that case all is not lost. :)
I didn’t realise they were Tiafoe’s sticks. Was at the shops and didn’t have my reading glasses on.....just saw the pics and it was a struggle to read much at all!

From what has been mentioned, I think it will be the same frame as the current model (16x19 version), just with a PJ change and also perhaps some more dampening in the handle.

The 18x20 version is a total mystery though.

I thought the original leaked pic had the VCORE written in a sort of like green instead of gold. I wonder if the 330 or 18x20 will have a different pj.

25 years without a recession and a massive commodities boom that has tapered off. That’s why. Everything is expensive in Australia.
I'd like to start to talk about economy but I don't want to go off topic, so I'll not say anything [emoji850]

Despite Argentina's challenging economic condition, it has managed to produce many top tier tennis players compared to its neighbours. Obviously Tennis Argentina is doing something right.

It's just pure heart and guts, I guarantee you.
Despite all the bad things about this country (socially and economically speaking) the good thing is that we are prepared for almost anything [emoji38].
We live in permanent crisis, so we deal with it daily, we are already ready for situations of pressure.
However, I think tennis as structure is getting better, at least a bit.

So turns out I can get a VCore Pro 97 in HK for pretty cheap, about $100 new. Or I can get a VCore 95/98 for about $160.

I am leaning towards the VCP just because of price alone. I'm basically looking for a more arm friendly racquet, most notably something that won't put as much stress on my wrist during top spin in comparison to my RF97A. The VCP97 should be the right pick right? Or is the VC95 going to be the better option?

I ended up becoming a member of this group as well. Ordered a used VCP 97 310 from the bay but the seller mistakenly sent me a 330gr one. Thought that I wouldn't like it and would return it but I actually really like it. Great control and comfort. Needs a bit more power but that can be fixed adjusting string tension.

Definitely a keeper.

For reference, in my bag I always have a 2015 Blade, IG Radical MP and Pro, DR98 Lite and a G360 Speed MP.

Yeah, it is. I’ve been spending a lot of time with a Clash 98 lately and am finding it to be a fantastic racquet. Even more comfortable which my ailing shoulder likes.

Does the 2015 Blade give you shoulder pain?

I am glad you like the Clash 98. I played with the 100' head version and didn't gel with it. Almost too soft and unpredictable. Have to try the 98' I guess! :)

The Clash 98 IMO is better than the 100 in every category except it has a little less power. Still love the 100 though. The 100 is more of a stick I pull out when I’m hitting casually. The 98 I can use to play matches.

Very. It'll be my next frame 100%

Love the 320g unstrung weight. Dark green and gold PJ is gorgeous and 18x20.
Jupp. I can pretty much say the same thing. Just don’t hope they make the 18x20 too dense. Angell TC97 18x20 is cutting it close for me in that regard. Biomimetic 300 tour and Wilson ultra tour are perfect 18x20 patterns.

I would think the 97 in isometric head should allow for a nice 18x20 pattern. Nothing too crazy tight.

Is there any chance the VCORE Pros go down to around $100 like the Duel Gs did when the VCORE Pros were coming out?

I’ve been playing with the 310 for a few months now and past the honeymoon period. Overall, still pretty happy with the frame. I miss some of the free power I had with the PS one7, mostly on volleys and quick exchanges at the net. I really have to catch the ball clean and swing more through the ball to put the ball away compared to the PS.

The main area I’m still struggling with is hitting in the sweet spot consistently. Most of the time I’m hitting the ball in the upper part of the stringbed, which causes the frame to feel stiff and the response off the stringbed can be a little erratic. When I do strike it in the sweet spot, it has a totally different feel and response.

I’ve tried adding a few grams of lead at 10/2 but didn’t like how it played. Is there anything I could do as far as my string setup to help with this? I’m currently playing with Klip 16ga in the mains and YPTP 17g in the crosses at 56/52. Would stringing lower give a more consistent response across the stringbed? Or since I’m consistently striking the ball in the upper part of the stringbed, should I consider extending the length? I’ve personally never played with an extended length racquet so don’t have any experience with it.

Uhm, that frame, according to TE chart has a sweet spot the same size as the prince tour 100 18 20 which is huge. Maybe the RA makes a difference. The tour is 56 which could make the difference. I have the tt100p and though TW has that sweet spot smaller than the 310, I find it really large. Mine are the 2015 model with lower RA. Maybe the Twaron is not as magic as claimed. Perhaps RA is more important?

I must say, this paintjob looks fantastic!

It is an amazing PJ. It'll be one of the best ones out there. I'm bias though cause my favorite color is green anyway. Emerald green is even better. Yonex did a great job on this next vcore pro line. So excited for the 18x20

The VCP is a total dud to me. Way too flimsy, I never had this issue with Duel G or Tour G 310. I'm not sure why .5mm makes such a difference, but there's just not a lot solidity in the upper hoop. And I had the same issue with the VCP 330, you could put 40g of lead and it would still flutter.

Interesting. I found the vcp97 310 to be very solid in the hoop in stock form.

I’d recommend lowering overall tension. Maybe to something like 52/48 for your Klip/ytpt hybrid and see if that helps.

Also, I thought isometric head means sweet spot is higher up in the hoop, which means you are hitting in the sweet spot region, no?

A little wider, a litter lower. Many people experienced a need for a new timing for their serves.
