I know that, but I wonder why it’s two different pricing without the VAT.
How did you specify 'without the VAT'? The only way I know is to select 'Outside EU' for your country. It also looks as if you somehow got the "15% off Spin Racquets" coupon to apply as 85% of 151.18 is 127.50.

Nevermind. I’m having a case of the ‘Manic Mondays’ :-D I did select ‘Outside EU’ so it makes sense now. The ‘15% off Spin Racquets’ was a limited time offer but it’s gone now. Sorry for wasting your time! Haha

I was considering them recently and noticed some places in the UK were selling the red and black versions at different prices from each other. Both colours are lovely though !

Unfortunately it’s the current one. I would love them to ditch the red and replace it with bumblebee yellow or white would be a cool one.
I love the red colour though. VCORE line traditionally seems to always have red in their colour scheme except for Si which had orange in its colour scheme.

I don’t like this red they’re using. Maybe it’s the matte, but it almost looks sliiiiiiiightly like there’s a pink tone to my eye.

I love the Galaxy black though. I wonder why they never made the 98 Plus length in galaxy black.

this line won’t be replaced until next year no?

That’s true. I remember when they first introduced the Vcore Tour F 97 and it tanked. Great PJ, but specs weren’t the best.

Galaxy Black is a limited colorway so they only do certain models/weight class. It’s either the end of this year or early next.

Didn't know it was limited. Thanks for that information. My son has a red and a black. The red is beautiful but prone to chipping, at least his is and a few others have reported issues. Doesn't really both him or me, but the black seems much more durable. Great racquets, though.

Sure thing! Imo, Yonex paint quality and QC is better than other brands/manufacturers. Their specs aren’t all over the place which I love. What you get is what you get.

Never tried the VCT F 97, but the PJ is definitely nice. For VCT/VCP line, my fav PJ is actually the red VCT. I guess I just love red.

I actually love it. If you give me the choice between red or galaxy black VCOREs, I'll always go for the red ones.

If it's like 2018, then the line should be updated this year around August-September. Could be delayed to even later due to COVID.

I just tested my test rackets I got from TW (Yonex Ezone 98 and Vcore 98, both 305g).
I hit the red Vcore 98 already once in the begin of this year, and really liked the 1BH with it. These rackets today were strung with a different setup (yellow/green neon -ish string, I think I saw the letters PTP 1,25, but I asked TW for more informationn about kg/date of stringing).
So I started again with the Vcore today, and again ... the 1BH is sooo easy with this racket. My weakest shot turns to the best shot with this racket. They have spin & power, direction & control is very good. However I had some problems with my FH. A lot of balls landed in the net. And it's not so easy to get a lot of weight/power on the balls with my FH. The plow-through is clearly missing. Slices were ok, but of course I am bit spoiled on slices with my Blade v7 18x20. (I need weight for good slices..).
My hitting partner told me that my balls have a lot of spin with this racket. The downsides of this racket appeared this time even clearer, than last time: the racket has a strange feeling and even a weird sound when hitting, kind of hollow. It feels crisp and firm but somehow stiff. Like your hitting with a metal pan. And because of this I think this racket is no candidate for a full bed of poly for a long time.

The Ezone 98 had a much better feeling from the beginning. It is much closer to the feeling of my blade v7 than the Vcore. If feels quite "harmonic" and round while hitting. The BH was not as good as with the Vcore but after a couple of minutes of adjusting I could also land a lot of good 1BH with it. Even though from the TW specs the Vcore should have more SW (322 vs 317) it feels the opposite on my FH. I had more plow-thorugh and weight on my balls with the Ezone. (maybe the specs are not matched). Also the Ezone felt more stable than the Vcore!
The Ezone had quite clearly less spin, but far enough and much more than my current blade 18x20. I think the Vcore is very extrem with spin, especially with this poly setup, and this makes it a bit of hard to control and too whippy (balls have no weight).

Overall, I have to say that both rackets had good enough control for me (Ezone slightly more). The Vcore had quite clearly more spin.
BH I would give slightly to the Vcore, but the FH I liked much more with the Ezone.
I didnt hit too many volleys today and no serves at all.

Atm I would buy the Ezone, due to the much better feel and the way I hit on FH's with it.

Pretty bang on review of these two frames. About the heavier ball (VC+) vs faster ball (Beast) I’ve had that comment from a hitting partner. Faster will maybe get a few more winners, but heavier should get more victories.

Today I took both rackets to a training session (VC98+ and the Bisner). Started some drills with the Bisner and it’s amazing how easy and solid the racket is. Love to volley with it. The downside is the almost uncontrollable power on groundstrokes and the lack of touch. When it came to point play I was shortening my swing to keep it in play I wasn’t hurting my opponent. Switched to the VC98+ and immediately started to control all points and hurting my opponent from the baseline. The downside is that flex that takes away the solid feel I get with the Bisner, specially on volleys. That flex also takes away power on my volleys and in the flat serve. It’s probably the only annoying thing in this racket. Maybe I’ll add 5g more of tungsten to 3&9 to get an higher TW.
It’s like you’ve mentioned: the VC98+ wins more games

I've added weight at 3 and 9 to my vc98+ as the twistweight is too low on that frame. I really hope Yonex fixes that with the upcoming model because even if we can add lead to raise the tw, the side effect is more SW and that frame really doesn't need more SW. If I add as much as I think I need to get the stability I want, I get more than 350SW which limits maneuverability especially in 27.5". So what I did was switch to thinner gauge strings to dial down the sw a bit. But now I break strings in 3hours which is not that bad as I string myself, but would suck for someone who doesn't.

I'm hopeful that Yonex gives us some more twistweight but keep the sw as is (or a bit lower for customization room) in the next version.

I did experiment with strings a little in the Bisner and gut/poly in the high 50s seems to work really well. Some added feel, power is huge and I get great control. The sweet spot is immense and the frame never feels harsh unless you actually hit the frame. The Bisner for its beafy specs swings so easily it's weird. Probably because it is so head light I don't know for sure. The Bisner is really close to being extremely good imho, but not as close as the VC98+.

The 98+ is an amazing frame. Can’t wait to see how they tweak the next version. It’s not my favorite feel wise, but it’s so easy to play well I felt like I was cheating. If the next version has a tiny bit lower swingweight, it may sway me to the extended length dark side. I haven’t tried an EZONE extended length though.

I also play with the Vcore 98+ and have added weight to the 3 and 9 to help with ball control. Although hefty, I still find it relatively easy to maneuver overall.

For those interested in in keeping the SW low, the older version of this racquet - the SV 98 Plus - is an excellent racquet in its own right and one that did not require any additional lead tape to play exceptionally well. Its definitely a bit crisper on contact than the Vcore 98+, although I found the overall feel to be solid and not harsh - just not as plush as the Vcore 98+. I actually quite like both racquets but ended up staying with the Vcore 98+ after I got it dialed in.

officially switching to the vcore 98 from the PA VS, which gave me arm problems. thought the vcore had a very similar feel to the 2017 vcore pro 97 with a bit more pop and spin. will have to add a gram or two up top, but looking forward to these sticks.

I switched also to VCore 98 black without demo. After the training with my coach I wanted to sell them. After adding the weight on 3&9 the racket has totally transformed into a real weapon. Power, spin and good amount of control, it’s all there. Feel is not so good, but I need to hit more with it. Coming from YTIG Prestige Pro...

Finally got myself my 2nd VC95. No more switching rackets till I break these two. Or maybe when new VCORE comes out...
I tried to play around with tweeners like EZ100, PD and PA but I can't just gel with them. In the end I went back to my trusty VC95.

I used the VCORE95 up until recently, and I can probably switch back easily if needed, but won't until we get a new color. I'm a shallow person haha. These should be updated soon though.. we are about to hit two years in October?

Should be in around that, either in September or October. I bought VC98 at that time 2 years back.

My daughter is a Junior, UTR 9. Playing the VCore 100. Her racquets are quite beat up. They can probably last 2 more months. Anyone know if the limited version (shared some posts ago) will be made available to America or not? And if that might delay the new model from coming out?

The LTD is a Japan exclusive, unfortunately. The new ones should be out around Autumn, but might be delayed till December or early next year (January) That’s what I’m guessing though

I got my second VC95 at RM399, which is about 94$. In my country, most places sell current VCORE lineup at 116$ and the most expensive one that I saw was 131$.

I'm thinking about doing the same to my 98+. It's hard for me to transition between my RF97 and my 98+ because of the massive difference in weight and balance. Any suggestions on how much to start with?

1/4" on both sides of the grommets. If you've never customized before, that's what's great about lead - you can just take it off. Putting lead at 12 gives you more swingweight, 3/9 more stability with less increase in swingweight, 10/2 somewhere in between, or like 1hbh's picture, a lot more stability distributed all around. If you play with a 1hbh, I definitely recommend trying some around 9/3 or 10/2. Since you have an extended frame, more SW will be added with lead further out. Experiment and see what you like. Then counterbalance with some blu-tak or weight in the handle if you like the weight but want to keep it a little more HL. I just add a leather grip and it keeps things feeling good.

Nope, I have a 2hbh! I think my biggest issue with changing to the 98+ was the swing weight and its much lower launch angle compared to my 97A so a lot of my balls would go into the net. I definitely noticed it was a bit slower to maneuver at the net, but that was mostly just being rusty with volleys. I'll give 10/2 a try since I think the 98+ already has some hefty swing weight, and 12 will likely be too much. I think it should bring the balance a bit closer to what my RF97 is like as well.

I’ve started with 4 g on 3&9 on first racket and 4 g on 2&10. Still haven’t tried the second one, but the first frame is doing job great. It’s not the touch frame imo, but it’s ok for me and I can do a huge damage to my opponents . Sw on first racket is in low 330. I don’t like tweeners frames and this one is somewhere between players frame tweener. I can swing hard in both wings, with heavy spin but also flat shots on the run (fh) And ball doesn’t fly long.
