I do have arm issues so i guess the major deciding factor would come from the racquet that is more arm friendly. If anyone has tried both or even one of them, feedback would be awesome. Thanks!

There is a substantial weight difference here. The PCTour is going to swing faster and have less power. You will have to do more work with the Pure Control, but it will be easier to swing.

The Yonex is easier power but will swing slower. So it matters your stye of play and what you prefer.

I use the yonex and love it. It is an attacking racquet with a pretty large sweet spot. If you want to dictate play and like to come to net behind big groundstrokes, the yonex is awesome.

The Pure Control would be more about moving the opponent around a little more and playing an all court game.

You can do either with these racquets, but those examples may help clarify the differences between the 2 sticks.

I have tried both of these racquets. Coming from the 4d 200 the Yonex has more plow and power than the Pure Control Tour. I think the Babolat needs lead where as the Yonex doesn't need any IMO. The Yonex will swing heavier and I felt like the control was the same. You get more plow through power with the Yonex but there is just something about Babolat frames to me that they all feel more powerful than other brands. I think it is the woofer grommet system if I had to guess. In my hitting experience, I gave the edge to the Yonex as I like the plow through power. The Babolat has power but it doesn't push through the court like the Yonex does. Both good racquets and felt like control was similar maybe the edge to Pure Control Tour for control. Still think it has more power than other rival control racquets though. Just my experience. I did not change to either racquet. Like my 4d 200 better.

I haven't tried the Yonex but have been trying to get into the Pure Control Tour. My racquet has swingweight of 320. I have understood that people have received PCTs with as low SW as 305. So it depends...

I would say it has power. Sweetspot is quite big. It swngs fast but Prestige MP (youtek, IG, flexpoint) swing faster. But with PCT power comes much much easier.

For me the biggest obstacle, almost show stopper, is that stupid plasticy Babolat feel. It must be the woofer grommets. Compared to Head the feel is still more muted although it feels crispier that Pure Storm Tour. Well, I think I got over/used to it and I felt so good hitting with it today. The power comes so easily compared to Prestige but still you have at least decent feel and control is very good.

Makes me wonder how would it be with normal non-woofer grommets... But earth calling. Let me put my focus on my footwork and leave woofers alone ;)

I am with you! Would love to try the frame without woofer grommets. For some reason, think it gives it a trampoline feel. May be me....

No it does. Its why i stopped played babolats. I hate that feel of the woofers after a while. The yonex tour g has an amazing feel though to me. Highly addictive.
