Tsitsipas was getting away with coaching, Medvedev called the umpire stupid and a small cat, Kyrgios has said the f word multiple times. All got away with it. Serena’s coaching and the word thief? No no that was the bad stuff! She was right when she said the men get away with worse and we saw it this tournament.

His reaction notwithstanding, they either need to legalize coaching or kick the likes of Apostolos and Mouratoglou out of the stands for it.

He is far from the first to behave like that at a high ranking and he will not be the last. Nobody begrudges McEnroe and Agassi their outbursts these days - on the contrary, they probably made them more popular in the long run. We've got a taste of how fans like disruptive behavior with Kyrgios-Kokkinakis filling up the stadiums this year.
 
So much crying from players nowadays. Maybe they believe it is better to stand up for themselves rather than take it on the chin and get on with things as in the old times.

enough is enough. Good that they’re managing it.

and Medvedev is open about that he should have handled it differently. I like how he is able to reflect on that.

It's much harder to let Patrick Moratouglou get away with it. He just looks too smug all the time. And he's a man, so even though the penalty was called on Serena, it was actually a male coach who was the guilty party.

And the standard for officiating? Where are the checks and balances?
 
Oof, he definitely lost it there. It's one thing to complain to the umpire, and I get that it's probably pretty loud with the roof closed and the night match crowd, but the yelling is a bit over the top.

Tennis as a sport really lets players get away with a lot when it comes to arguing with umpires. Most sports you'd get booted. But it's always been that way. Med's hardly unique.

Don't talk nonsenses. Firstable check Tsitsipas press and then talk. And he doesnt get away. He constantly get warning and time violation. He is targeted big time, unlike some other proven cheaters for many years.
