I'm glad this is a board, because in person you wouldn't live with talking to me like that, but so that i don't get banned i won't mess with you phil!

Yo, bones, if you want to prove how hard core you are, go have a UFC fight and ask someone to post a pic of your sodomised body afterwards.

What you know and the people around you know, you've already proven. I'm not on here to talk all about my fighting skills, so keep it on donald!

But since you reccomend it so much, how bout you be the opponent if your game for it bUddy!

"No one else has ever been in my position," he said. "We're going at it our way, and it's going pretty well, except in the ATP matches. … I don't think they were as good as me when they were 16, so I don't think they even had the decisions to make."

Are you sure he is American? He sounds Argentinian to me.;)

I looked at DY's record and saw that he hasn't even won a set in 10 ATP-level tournament matches, 21 consecutive sets lost. The closest he ever got was taking Jan-Michael Gambill and Georgio Galimberti to a tiebreaker in Indianapolis and the USOpen, respectively. All his other losing efforts were pretty routine. He's also lost quite a few first round Challenger and Futures Matches.

San Jose '05 - Ginepri 2 and 2
Scottsdale'05 - Goldstein 3 and 1
IW '05 - Clement 2 and 3
Miami '05 - Lisnard 4 and 5
Houston '05 - Calatrava 4 and 1
Indianapolis '05 - Gambill 6 and 2
US Open '05 - Galimberti 6, 1, and 2
Carson '05 - Weiner 4 and 1
IW '06 - Henman 3 and 1
Miami '06 - Berlocq 0 and 0

He's also got more wildcards the rest of the year....all on American soil.

Blah... blah... blah...

Young lost to Berlocq 0-6, 0-6. The next day Berlocq lost to Blake 0-6, 0-6. <-- this has got to be unprecendented!!

Draw your own conclusions. But just for references, here are highlights of Michael Chang's resume around the same age.

"1987-Became the youngest player at 15 years, 6 months to win a main draw match at the US Open (d. McNamee) after taking a wild card...Also the youngest player to reach a tour SF (at 15 years, 7 months) in Scottsdale...Won the Las Vegas Challenger (d. J. Levine)...1988-Captured his first Tour title in San Francisco (d. Kriek) at 16 years, 7 months...1989-Became the youngest Roland Garros and Grand Slam champion (17 years, 3 months)"

Young is overhyped, that is odvious. If he can make it on tour is a matter of speculation, very difficult to predict. IMG has a lot invested, so they will keep him in the spotlite as long as they can. If you look at Blake, I do not think anyone really thought he would be top ten, and look where he is now, so it can happen. With Blake the only one on the horizon who looks to be able to carry the mens game for the US into the near future, it is no wonder Young is generating all this hype and press.

I heard the following expression once:

"God is an Argentinian". I get what you're saying, Micky.

So HE's the one playing Sampras, at the end?
How cruel would that be!!???

i think sampras will let young win few games here and
there, just to make young feel better so not to get embarassed
to the crowd. otherwise, if pete really play young seriously pete will
pulverize young into dust.:D :D
