1. Nadal
have to go with him as he's been so impressive, it could be Federer though, cause I can see it being very close next year. Rafa will have trouble defending some points outside clay and Federer will have a better year, particularly the part from AO till Miami will be better.
2. Federer
One of the greatest players ever, his peak is clearly over, but I think he showed in Flushing Meadows that he's still a lot better than Murray and Djokovic when he's on form.
3. Djokovic
He's been close to Federer and Nadal all year, and although he lost twice to Murray this season, he clearly showed he's got what it takes. People tend to forget quickly, because now he's got an average summer people are writing him off, while early in the season it was Novak who seemed the main threat to Federer's spot, as he dominated the hardcourts big time. His clay season was also very good and I think people are way too quick to say he's gonna have a bad year.
4. Murray
Really becoming part of the big four. He'll get to maybe 4000 points.
5. Del Potro
The guy keeps impressing, 4 ATP titles, USO quarters, 2 wins in davis cup. He's unbelievable and he'll go up the rankings until wimbledon next year for sure. He'll be seeded at every tournament so he can win a lot of cheap points.. He'll be a really big player.
6. Davydenko
He is so consistent, very good player and underestimated by a lot of people
7. Roddick
Andy Roddick has been around in the top 10 for very long now, and has had a couple of nasty injuries, yet still makes the quarters of the US Open. His Dubai tournament earlier this year was impressive imo, and he'll do well next year again, because he's not that old and if his body can keep it up, I think he's still very hungry.
8. Wawrinka
Wawrinka is still young, gaining experience and wins the matches he's gotta win. He's very consistent, doesn't get upset by midgets too often, but doesn't seem to win matches against the best players yet. He's never beaten Federer or Nadal, but his Olympic gold and Rome final were a start maybe. Think he'll gain a place and make it to the masters cup next year
9. Gasquet
I hope he finally comes good.
10. Nalbandian
If he gets his confidence back, he still is damn good.
People tend to come up with all kinds of names putting up delpo, gulbis, tsonga, cilic, nishikori and stuff. Sure they'll improve, but they won't get to the top 10 all next year. Tsonga will drop big time for instance after AO and won't even be seeded at tournaments so he'll have a tough time getting up the ranks.
