What are the best deals you got on black friday this year? Don't have to be tennis related.
I found CC B7s for $95. Not a bad deal, considering they haven't made those since 2012/13.

Didn't buy anything today. Probably not tomorrow. Nor Sunday. Don't really need a lot of things these days.

I'm not a big shopper, but went to trade in a sweater I bought for my son for a different size....they told me that I got an extra discount today because of Black Friday prices. Who was I to say no?

Photo from Toronto Eaton Centre today (luckily very early on, before the crowds):

We went to the bank this morning and it’s located on the entrance road to a local mall. We wanted to turn left to exit the bank but there was too much traffic going into and leaving the mall so we went into the mall parking lot and then turned around to leave. This was at 9:30 AM. Parking lot was packed and lots of people carrying out shopping bags of stuff. I was rather amazed as I thought that we learned to be frugal with the last recession. I guess we have short memories.

I'm curious, who is "we" in terms of people who should have learned to be frugal?

I saw a cardigan (yes a cardigan and no I am not gay) at Nordstrom Rack online reduced from 195 to 35 but they didn't have it in my size.
Just because you desire to look like somethig other than a Kevin Smith man-child slob here in the US doesn't mean you are verging on "gay."

In fact, my only Black Friday purchase was a black wool cardigan from SNS Herning... 30% off.

Great quality stuff from those Danes!

I only really buy things I need or have wanted for awhile, the special impulse buy deals never really interest me.

I’ve been looking at a new 24-105mm lens for my camera, but there were no good deals. I did buy two boxes of Grenade carb killa protein bars though. I ran out last week and they had 50% off so, it was good timing.

We're not exactly "wild" here in Canada. I'm also going to guess that most Europeans aren't also. I live with pretty humble people so that is why I ask.

Your central bank is raising interest rates and I did read about a property bubble there that seems to be deflating. But that's the country as a whole. The mall in my town attracts shoppers (and tourists) from Canada. Maybe due to the VAT.

Bought a new Corvette at 18% off the sticker price.

I have a German friend and his last two cars were Corvettes. Impressive cars but not that practical in New England during the winter (he, of course, has a winter car).

Yeah, we have 3 kids with different activities so we also need 2 minivans to shuttle them around. The Vette will most like be like the 911 and sit mostly in the garage and maybe have about 2k miles each on them per year. I also have a 2007 Crossfire that only have 25k miles on it. I was going to trade it in when I got the Vette but they only gave me peanuts for it so I just decided to keep it also.

Sounds like you guys are doing well. Always good to hear about folks that have their act together.
