I think the current Big 3 streak will almost definitely get to 15 slams in a row, based on the fact that Nadal is still the dominant force at RG and if he fails, Djokovic is comfortably the second favorite. of course there’s still Thiem, but I think one of the Djokodal will take it. it feels almost weird to consider someone else than those 3 players for the RG title as of right now.

then there’s Wimby, where all the Big 3 have shown good results in the past two years. there’s of course Djokovic and Roger, and even Nadal has made a deep run at the last two editions, so it would take some luck for all three to fail there. and the fact that the young guys cannot play on the surface plays into their cards also.

I think the chance for someone else to stop the streak is USO, but it’s still far away and right now honestly I’d still put my money on one of the Big 3 members.

2020?
I'm going for the decade, the entire 2020's!
I wish the BIG 3 continue to divvy up the slams between them, but in a gentlmanly manner.
That is, divide them evenly, one for you, one for you and one for me.
Then everyone will be happy!

I agree.

Due to rankings, thiem will have to beat both Rafa and Nole, which is a tough task.

No one other than Big 3 have a grass court game to win Wimbledon.

US open is the only hope. Go thiem!

The streak will continue for at least a little longer. Nadal will win Roland Garros.

What I'd like is for Novak to win Wimbledon or US Open, plus the Olympic Gold. Other tournaments, I'm fine with the Diamond Age taking over.

I’d like to see Rafa get to 20 and Djoker get to 19. Would be cool.

Suspect we’ll have an interloper instead

I think all Nadal fans since last September are only interested in two events this year. Fo and uso.

Win both and he is on 21 plus would be joint leader of Us open wins. If he did that he can retire as far as im concerned and enjoy next part of his life.

AO was a great event for Rafa as he looked so competitive on his worse surface (greenset) and if he wins FO he should skip Wimbledon.

Only events Rafa should play this year are Indian Wells, Monte Carlo, Barcelona, rome, roland garros, toronto And Us Open.

Hopes for the rest of the year:

- Serena making inroads on the major title count record
- Some good Djokodal matches on clay and possibly a Wimbledon rematch
- Bianca Andreescu to be injury free.
- Federer to have some success somewhere (maybe OG medal or WTF?)
- Nadal and/or Djokovic to have good US Opens.
- More Breakthroughs for Zverev and Tsitsipas
- More Stanimal appearances
- Thiem to final at AO, RG, USO.
- Barty to do the channel slam
- Kyrgios to continue to show more of his "real life", more mature persona.
- Tennis Sandgren to retire the garish "Le Flouro" shirts, shorts and muscle Tees (surely this guy is good enough to get a proper apparel sponsor?)

I want Thiem and/or Tsits and/or Zverev to win a slam.

Definitely want new slam champs. Big 3 are a greedy octopus and they need to be humbled.
Either that or Novak actually wins the SYGS... More likely a youngster will break out. getting older just makes being top form for 2 weeks of best of 5 tennis difficult. tstsipas at french? (or theim) Zverev shocks us all by winning Wimbledon? Theim at the US Open? (or Tsisipas)

Indian Wells-Thiem
Miami-Medvedev
Monte Carlo-Tsitsipas
Madrid-Thiem
Rome-Berrettini
Roland Garros-Thiem
Wimbledon-Zverev
Olympics-Fritz (USA! USA! USA!) really any American will do
Canadian-Shapovalov
Cincinnati-Medvedev
US Open-Medvedev
Shanghai-Medvedev
Paris-Rublev
I almost have the same prediction with some minor changes

Prediction:

French Open - Nadal
Wimbledon - Djokovic
US Open - (Next Gen Winner)

My wish is to see Nadal and/or Djokovic equal and surpass Federer.

FO - Thiem
Wimbledon - Federer
US Open - Berrettini who faces no top 50 players

Anyone who actually believes that Novak will win all 4 at the age of 32/33 simply doesn't follow pro tennis, or doesn't understand it. Period.

Even if this were the weakest era in the entire history of the cosmos, Novak would not have a chance to win all 4 in a row - AGAIN. He barely beat Thiem at AO, just to point that out. He had a lull last year during HC season. He almost lost Wimby finale. And yet somehow he is a favourite to win all 4 just because he won AO?

He's won AO 7 times BEFORE and how many times did he follow that up with the FO? Once. With CYGS? Zero times.

Expectation: the big three hoover up the FO, Wimbledon and the USO, though the cracks show as much as they did at this AO.

Wish: Thiem wins the FO, Murray produces an absolute miracle and gets another Wimbledon and one of Zverev, Medvedev, Tsitsipas or Rublev wins the USO.

Just want noler to win wimbledon from here on out until he retires. OG be nice he wants the gold! The rest of the majors can be up for anyone else. Love to see 8 wimbledon titles! It is prob djokovics best surface now. Easier on the body. Grass Valhalla! Cmon!
I'm hoping for a Decima at AO. That would put him in the same rarefied territory as Nadal, which 8 Wimbledons just wouldn't do.

True true that would be sweet!
Also would love to see Thiem bag the FO this year. I am sure nadal fans would allow him a couple titles there as long as rafa gets a couple more us opens!

Big 3 have won the last 13 Majors, will that streak continue? And do you want it to continue, or would you rather see the changing of the guard?

Congrats to Djoker on winning the Australian Open by the way...
I’d let Rafael Nadal win 2-3 more slams, have Federer retire and Djokovic just continue playing saxophone and queen covers and stop winning. But you can’t always get what you want, just another Roland Garros :)
