Your favorite songs for before a tennis match?

Hey,

I thought it would be interesting to find out what everyone here likes to listen to before tennis matches, or any good songs that you think would be suitable for this scenario.

To start it off, I really like the song in this video for tennis (mainly because it stirs up images of Federer in my mind ;) haha):

It's called "The Prayer," by Bloc Party.

So, what are your favorite pre-match songs?

Emminence Front - Pete Townsend
Intruder/Pretty Woman - Van Halen
Ou Est Le Soleil - Paul McCartney
Even Better Than the Real Thing - U2

Well, I really enjoy listening to Refused's A Shape Of Punk To Come if I really need it, but other than that:

Baba O'Riley- The Who
Working Man- Rush
Take Control- Weezer

And some Sonic Youth

RUSH RULES! Too many favorites to list. Limelight, Tom Sawyer, Red Barchetta, that whole album.

Queen: Another One Bites the Dust

Survivor: Eye of the Tiger

Van Halen: Jump & Panama

LL Cool J: I'm Bad & Mama Said Knock You Out

Snap: I've Got the Power

....I listened to the first Linken Park album when I was in 5th grade.

Since then, I've forgotten all about that crappy, mass produced, regurgitated corporate rock.

Why do people who don't know anything about anything insist on describing things as "corporate"? A lot of people like that music = that's why it's mass produced.

Also, wouldn't Weezer definitely be described as "corporate" by the definition you've used? I mean, I've heard that AWFUL beverly hills song more times on the radio than any other song in history.

LMAO.

Not to play one-upsmanship, but I find that taking that 'foaming-at-the-mouth' to another level (i.e. the "technocolored yawn") is always good for an early serice break from my opponent.

"Hysteria" - Muse
"Firestarter" - Prodigy
"Big Iron" - Marty Robbins

are my arsenal of all-time pre-tennis Go songs. Kinda depends on my mood and who I'm playing, etc. Lately "Papua New Guinea" by Future Sound of London has crept into the mix.

That's a great idea. I should start carrying Alka Seltzers in my bag.

You haven't seen 300, huh?

I just realized something the other day: 300 was a gayer movie than Brokeback Mountain.

Wake me up, before you go go
Don't leave me hanging on like a yo-yo.
Wake me up before you go go,
I don't wanna miss it when you hit that high
Wake me up before you go go,
'cause i'm not planning on going solo.
Wake me up before you go go,
Take me dancing tonite.
I wanna hit that high...

You get the gray skies outta my way,
You make the sun shine brighter than doris day.
Turn a bright spark into a flame,
My beats per minute never been the same.

'cause you're my lady,
I'm your fool.
Makes me crazy
When you act so cruel.

C'mon baby,
Let's not fight.
We'll go dancing
And everything will be alright.

Maybe its time for you to indulge in the music of a huge cult following band named: Tool

Tool is amazing. I started out listening to a lot of A Perfect Circle and was soon drawn to Tool. Any of the following songs are the ****:

Lateralus
Jambi (The start of this song is just...)
Forty-Six & Two
H.
pretty much the whole Aenima CD =P

"Rev 22:20" by Maynard's latest side project, Puscifer, is excellent as well.
