If you have a HDTV flat antenna, MeTV sub channel is usually available in most cities in the U.S. If you do not have a HDTV flat antenna, you can buy a super quality square or circle shape for about $20.00 on Amazon. Get one the size of a full sheet of paper around 8” X 11”. You can get between now 80-250 sub channels and all major over the air national broadcast channels too. It is in full 1080p uncompressed HD too. It all totally free and you can buy recording devices to record programs and make your own library of shows and movies and to play back content that you recorded. The amplifier flat antenna IMO is a gimmick! Stick with the one without it!

The rhythm of “Nawlins” is starting to guide Your Honor as it reaches halfway in the 10-part series.

If anyone is a Bryan Cranston fan, the series is starting to be a must see show.

Currently going through the nothing new to watch stage. I'm still going back to watch bits of Cobra Kai.

Same with me, but I got them SEAL Team, S.W.A.T., FBI, Bull and The Good Doctor to fill the void. I think I'm going to like American Gods Season 3 best of the lot; it's just a feeling from what I've seen thus far.

I just saw a promo ad for Kyra Sedgwick’s newest series, this time a sitcom in which her role is a 40s-something (?) empty nester mother dealing awkwardly with the big changes for her both within her family and in today’s changing times.

I’m a big fan of Mrs. Bacon and I also enjoyed the show’s producers previous sitcom The New Adventures Of Old Christine. Let’s see if Kyra masters this transition to lead comedic talent. I’ll be watching Call Your Mother to see.

I was doing a bit of reading on American Gods the other day. I didn't get back to it again after watching all of season 1. The bits I did watch of season 2 felt meh. It's funny, back before Cobra Kai comes out, or any other show that comes out that releases all the episodes at once. I'm thinking great! Binge time. Then when I'm done watching I think maybe the old school 1 episode a week would be better. Awk well. :p

Surely I did, Stormfront, Homelander and the whole gang . . . anyway, Brit Special Forces Billy Butcher is da man.
Yeah, forgive me for not paying attention. I've seen Homelander pop up in fan questions about the most powerful ever and whatever. I think it has finally pulled me in to give it a watch. It doesn't seem to be on Netflix at the minute. Can always go old school and download like a filthy pirate. :p

Too many of them superheores popping up here and there, the likes of The Boys, Titans, Doom Patrol, Legends of Tomorrow, Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, Batwoman, etc., it's delightfully exhausting at times. I'd say my favourites would be Franco-Brit collaborations in the form of dark comedy-dramas. You should try this ''Lupin'' thingie. Enjoy.

It was easier back when it was just Arrow and the Flash. HR Wells and the trusty vortex cannon.

I'm going to watch The Mandalorian and The Boys and then see where we go from there.

I've been very close to cling on Lupin but it hasn't pulled me in yet. A click is all it takes sometimes. The Queen's Gambit was a lucky click.

Totally loved it, Queen's Gambit and also His Dark Materials with James McAvoy in it. HR Wells and his vortex cannon, those were the days my friend--it wasn't that long ago!

Denis Irwin is on netflix.. I remember an interview about the teams he Irwin played in. He then talked about his chess rivalry with King Eric. :giggle:

“I wasn’t a national chess champion. I played for my school and we finished in the national championship.

“I was a decent chess player, don’t worry about that. I used to play Eric, but games wouldn’t last long,” Irwin added cheekily, before revealing his current TV show of choice.

“I’ve been watching the Queen’s Gambit on Netflix.”

She can definitely do comedy, her recurring role on Brooklyn Nine-Nine was great. But lead role is certainly a different task.

First episode wasn’t so good. The cast doesn’t support well and the writing was pretty bland and predictable. I’ll watch if I’m around but I won’t change my schedule to watch it like real hits.

Irwin destroyed the king huh?! I did not know that!

Your Honor has really blossomed into a very intense series! Cranston executes the Machiavellian yarn written by a crackerjack writing team and directed to so many climaxes only to get even more intense as the plot really thickens.

Anyone checked out Search Party on HBO Max? Seems the first 2 seasons were originally available on TBS but it switch to HBO Max when renewed for a third season.

Doesn't seem to be on TBS any longer and I only have access to ep 1 on HBO Max. I'll have to check out to see if it is available on YT Premium or elsewhere.

It has been described as satire / dark comedy. Season 1 is labeled as a mystery while Seasons 2 and 4 are describe to be more in the psychological thriller vein. And season 3 has been designated as a legal drama.

B Positive is the newest Chuck Lorre sitcom. I tuned in early for Mom after giving up on Mr. Mayor (Ted Danson’s latest fail) and Superstore (yuk!). Off to CBS I went and I laughed more in five minutes than I had in more than 40 minutes. It’s all new faces (for me) on B Positive, which finds the main character Drew (a recently divorced 30s) in need of a new kidney. He links up with an old girlfriend who is a suitable donor. Let’s just say Lorre and his writers will have plenty of fresh material to work with about the interpersonal dynamics between the pair as they probably wind up sharing more than a kidney.

Mandalorian is great! Much better than those CW superhero shows. I don't like all the PC changes and messages they push with them. Mandalorian is just a great story/show. You don't even have to be a big Star Wars fan (although I am) to like it.

Dang I didn't know "Supergirl" tv shows. My local TV just put it up on their app, only season 1. This show is like the X-Files on steroid. I freaking love it. Now I'm bingeing on season 2. Lots of good humor as well, that actually makes me LOL!

Anybody tried out the Young Rock show?

Story of a former wrestler draws 5 million
Highest rated wrestling show is around 2 million

Yep, The Rock is bigger than wrestling. Who knew?

I'll have to check it out.

Took a binge watch on the 30 minute 1955-1960 Matt Dillon TV Show which got renamed Gunsmoke when it went to 60 minutes.
The 30 minutes episodes are my favorite of the Matt Dillon/Gunsmoke series. Each season had 39 episodes, not like the current limited 12-20 episodes of today’s season run. Gunsmoke had a 20 year run on CBS and Alan Hale recommended to cancel Gilligan’s Island before CBS cancelled Gunsmoke. CBS executives were a little mad in their TV programming thinking, wanting to introduce new shows even if their current shows had a big rating draw and replace them. Gilligan’s Island, Gunsmoke and a couple of others shows were in the cancellation bid for their picking. Gilligan’s Island got picked.

Halt and Catch fire. Have any of you seen it? I don't know what's been written here in the last 95 pages, but this has been surprisingly good.

Of course I did! I was searching for other Dwayne Johnson tv series after I was done with Ballers.

Can you smell the larger-than-life aspirational pull of a Dwayne Johnson running for public office?

Have you every listen to him speak about current affairs and such. He is total WOKE/leftist and not like his character in movies/Wrestling portrays him to be. He is for Socialist/Communism agenda like many of the Hollywood Elite today. He did move out of LA years ago and lived in Atlanta,Georgia. Smart move by the “Rock”.
