Ancic, I have always loved the guy, a great player....to bad he always seems to be sick or injured.
for the girls...Zheng, and Tanasugarn until she was beaten by Venus, to be 31 and still be able to play well and achieve firsts in her career, and finally breaking her fourth round funk at Wimbledon...my hat goes off to her.

ANCIC - finally his back healthy!
ZHENG - she came in as a wildcard , she saw .... starts to conquer. Ivanovic said that she got overwhelmed with Zheng's power.
SAFIN - dude is finally got his head straight! I think he learned that from his sista Safina - ' suck it up when things are going back and just play!' Good things will happen!

There are different categories of unseeded players, the once highly ranked veterans, and the rising stars.
Ancic and Safin are veteran players, therefore, they have a built-in fan base. People know their games and personalities. They are my favorite unseeded players in the draw.
Gulbis, Tipsy, and Cilic are rising stars. They would be my favorite in this category.

Paradorn Srichaphan and Taylor Dent. They’re not only unseeded, they’re not playing. They did not do so well regarding their offensive skills and on court presence. Still I loved their game.
Right now I don’t see any player of this kind. Tsonga has the potential. He is seeded every tourney but prone to injuries as well. Hope this helps
