I particularly dislike Hewitt, he is too arrogant, he would shout "come on" just to put his opponents off. I am happy that he is no longer a top player so I have to watch less of him, and because he is not longer very good he doesn't shout anymore!

I bet most players in real life are *****. Nadal dropped my autograph pen at wimbeldon yet bent down picked it up and apologized. I've heard he's a nice guy. I think gasquet,murray,coria,lopez and verdasco look like real cocks. I hate watching all the croatian players they're just lumps and Blake just misses loads so it makes his matches dull. Federer is Ok but all his classic outfits and stuff is too forced.

Although I don't dislike his personality, he can be quite funny, I can't stand watching Roddick play. There's nothing worst than watching an amazing player work hard to win a point with amazing selection of shots only for Roddick (or any other ace head) to win the next point with a cheap ace 98 percent of the time. barf.

I don't mind an Ace now and again but for god's sake he does that too much. He sucks at the net and if he tries to engange in a rally with someone he loses more oftne than not. For me tennis is more enjoyable when the player has to work for his point. Just my preference, if others enjoy ace after ace after ace after ace, especially at crucial points when what we really want to see is some blood sweat and tears, then good for them.:-?

For the record, Safin didn't storm off the court. He called Tursunov's serve in. It was an ace, and he didn't want to challenge because he knew it was in.

I don't like when it's purely aces either, actually, it doesn't totally bother me because I like seeing big serves, but yes it gets boring.

However, I do like clutch aces on crucial points.

i really dislike james blake, both his playing style and his j-block attitude. same with Djokovic. i like nadal as a person but i find him really boring to watch. any of the big serve only guys like karlovic and isner aren't interesting to watch at all for me. seem like nice guys though, i don't dislike them personally.

No no, of course serves are important to a players game, and it is ok to use it sometimes to get out of sticky situations but he uses it waaay too much. Other than his serve can you really praise him for any other part of his game? It would be nice if he could mix it up more.

I disagree. If you got a great part of your game, use it as long as it's a fair and within the rules strength.

I do understand that it may be boring, but to say he uses it too much is absurd. It's his frickin weapon!

Roddick is not really comfortable at any other areas other than when it comes to serves. And me, as a spectator, I enjoy more matches with unbelievable rallies, amazing shots, intensity, grinding and all good stuff that makes a match or a player unforgettable. Sure an ace is fine here and there, ok, but I prefer players with more variety to their games.

that reminds me..I was walking the grounds at westside tennis club when the US mens claycourt champs and Luis Horna was approached by a father and son(son being about 5 years old) and had a piece of paper and a pen and asked Horna for his autograph, Horna just walked past the duo (and there were no other people around horna either) and just ignored them.
