Cheers. Sinner cap is good, comfy and breathable. The bill is short so on really bright days you do miss a little bit of protection, but I'm happy with it overall.

V11s I've enjoyed, though I have no frame of reference to previous iterations. I go for the more maximal/durability shoes so the Vapors were never on my list before. I haven't stayed with any shoe for more than one pair, I've really shopped around lol. Previously used:
  • Edit: forgot to include K Swiss ultrashot 3 (plush, big, a bit clunky, but a success overall)
  • Yonex Eclipsion 3 (these were great)
  • Wilson Rush Pro 3 (way too narrow for me and felt a little underdone)
  • Asics Gel Res 8 (great shoe, not much downside but didn't want to go them again for some reason. I remember the cushion bottomed out after a while and then I'd get knee pain)
  • Adidas Solecourt Boost (great comfort and looks but also big, heavy boats of things)
  • Nike Court Tech Challenge 20 (stiff, narrow, uncomfortable, looked sick though)
  • Back in the day was mostly K Swiss leather shoes, they were super comfy but hot and heavy
I'll probably go back to Gel Res for my next pair.

Feels like an overcorrevtion on the Nike hat bills lately. They went from so so long with aero bill to shorter now, but I like the short stuff so gonna give the sinner hat a go

If you’re looking for something maximalist, try the GP turbo resale or the GP challenge 1 - based on your history could work well

I'd try the GP Challenges if they were available in NZ/Aus, but even the bigger retailers don't have them, only the takedown version. I think perhaps retailers here are sick of Nike. Certainly the impression I got from local retailers I've chatted to. And not even available direct to consumer in NZ!

Wow. That’s wild, not even going DTC in a fairly sizable market like NZ is pathetic. I’ve had my gripes with them, but this is one of the more annoying things I’ve heard of. Bummed for you folks, but not missing much this cycle. I think the vapor 12 will be coveted, hope you can get access to those

Cheers mate. Reading the gear threads on here its annoying we don't get half of the good stuff, and we're completely out of sync with the seasons, so your summer collections drop in the middle of our winter, if at all.
They did used to have Nike NZ online but pulled out of the market quite recently. Hopefully with a change of direction they'll return in future.

So rough, I always found the seasonal drops to be largely exclusive. Weather varies so much around the world. Each collection should have varying options in terms of cuts to accommodate anyone’s climate

what a sweet loadout man. especially the the TGT293.1 and the vapor 8 tour for me. a long forgotten but awesome vapor. it's funny, bc fed didnt use certain vapors, they are almost forgotten. I loved the 7/8 lunar midsole, although I may slightly prefer the softer upper of the V7. hows the lacoste shoe treating you? long been curious about those

Right there with you on balls and WOW that gravity pro is a stunner. Im sideyeing the gravity 2025 BIG TIME right now lol

thanks for sharing mate

Yeah when I saw the 2025 gravity PJs I couldn't resist lol. I'm surprised I have been enjoying the pro more than the tour - the tour took a lot of tinkering (to work for me) that I don't love to get too involved with.
I really like the Lacoste shoes, but durability is definitely an issue. They're a good option for a fast/supportive shoe but the cushioning is still pretty soft. It's almost a weird combo, but from what I've tried recently, I feel quicker and feel like I move better in these. I'm excited to try the Vapor 12s when they come out in a reasonable colorway lol

Bag check. "Whatu got in the bag" Ludacris shout out..
Basically I used to carry the typical big bag with rackets and related accessories to live out of my car a few days in order to play a grand slam for 2 weeks without going home.
Now I keep it simple...Kiss approach. Lean six sigma..
2 of the same racket. And my 1 of my 2nd favorite racket at the moment..the remedy I go to if my #1 Lets me down...
Small towel, hat, wrist band.. balls...a coin.
Much easier and convenient.. and energy conservation which I can use in the match instead of lugging around a luggage..

On the body, no name mixed colored poly shorts and shirt.. cheap socks, no special underwear, what ever sneakers TW had on clearance sale.. no particular brand preference.
To me the $40 on clearance last as long as the triple digit $$$ models..
