The olympics is the one tennis event where at least you get something for 2nd and 3rd place that is of some value within the context of the event. A bronze is still a MEDAL, hence you were a medal winner, a runner up plate/trophy at a slam isn't really anything great within the context of a slam. So in an ideal situation who would get the 3 medals? I meant to ask this when the event started, but you can say you you would have liked (if they have been beaten) and/or who you want out f the remaining players. But it must be possible (so no medals for both Almagro and Murray for instance) To make it clear - winner = gold, runner up = silver, losing semi finalists play off for bronze. My ideal situation at the start of the tournament and still, is Federer and Djokovic in the final. Not sure who I want to win gold, I would just sit back and enjoy it. I feel it would complete Fed's resume and Novak still has one more chance maybe in Rio, but Federer had one big chance in 2004, and a half chance in 2008, so this is Djokovic's first big chance. Maybe Djokovic deserves this as Federer didn't take it in 2004. Bronze medal would go to my 3rd favourite, Del Potro. This means he would probably have to beat Murray though which is unlikely and I'm not sure he'll even beat Ferrer who I think he plays next. I think Murray looks set for a medal this year. Who do other people want to see win each medal?
