Mine:
Krejcikova-Kerber
Samsonova-Muguruza

Svitolina, Kenin, Andreescu already out. Barty looked horrid today against Blinkova, she will lose to Krejcikova. Sabalenka is also struggling and never reached a QF... will lose against Rybakina in R4. Pliskova is just too untrustowrthy at this point, anyone can beat her. Swiatek isn't ready for grass at this stage of her career, Muguruza should beat her in 2 if they meet.
Samsonova is on a huge streak (9 wins in a row on grass) and her serve is impressive. Kerber struggled today but her draw has Sasnovich, Gauff and Pablyuchenkova, she is the most recent Wimbledon winner in the draw... she can do it. Krejcikova has now won 14 matchs in a row and quickly adapted to the grass... this Barty isn't stopping her. And I think Muguruza (former winner) is just better than Rybakina/Swiatek/Sabalenka on this surface.

What's yours?

Beginning of the tournament, I had Barty over Kvitova in the final with Gauff and Rybakina as the other two SFists. After 4 days, I guess I'll keep the three remaining and take Madison Keys as the fourth, although it's really tempting to trade Rybakina for Muguruza.

Barty-Gauff
Keys-Rybakina

Yikes, I saw a few Keys and Stephens. Those two are the ultimate fools gold. One match they can look unbeatable the next match they look like they don’t want to be there or they can’t keep a ball in the court.

I think Barty can beat anyone remaining. Sabalenka should be able to beat everyone remaining. She's like the boy who cried wolf - the girl who looks like she should win. I've been fooled before, so I'm remaining skeptical.

I made it to the semi's of my knock out betting pool. I get to choose between Barty/Kerber but I already chose both Pliskova and Sabs in earlier rounds so I'm screwed. Even if I get Barty/Kerber right I have no one to pick for the final...bunch of money on the line too.

Anyway, who should I pick between Barty/Kerber? Both playing well.

edit: got knocked out of the men's for picking Rublev over Fusco...as did half the betting pool lol.

If Sabalenka can get over the hump and win this whole thing it may open the flood gates for her winning majors consistently. She’s got the game it just needs to sink in between the ears.

Agree about Barty.

Sabalenka and Pliskova have amazingly effective baseline games, but if Barty can diffuse that all-out attack or they are not executing, they could be in trouble pretty quickly.

In my opinion, the problem that players like Pliskova and Sabalenka will have is that Barty can go with them from the baseline, and even push them back with the big topspin forehand that she has, but she has many additional ways to win the match.

Barty's toughest match now will be getting through Kerber, who is a proven big match performer, is currently in red-hot form, and has the defensive skills and tools to compete with Barty's dazzling variety and court craft.

Yeah. If they were more multidimensional or used different ways to win or were a little more tennis smart or mentally strong, each of them would have won a slam by now. However, they have zero between them - which is telling. Sabalenka has decent all around tools when she uses them. Pliskova is a serve and groundies, but not bad at the net when she chooses to move in. Her movement can be limiting, but is doing alright at the moment, since she's gotten this far.

Both of them can be taken out of their game or off rhythm. Pliskova usually just folds at that point, and Sabalenka just hammers from the baseline regardless of if it's working or going in - at least in the past. It's will be interesting since they're playing each other and someone has to win.

Kerber's interesting. Generally, she'll MAKE you beat her, which isn't always easy. Barty's a pretty smart player with a variety of options that can choose from. Kerber's counterpunching style can be a little limiting, but also can be pretty effective when it's on. This will probably be a pretty well played semi-final. I'm not sure about the other.

It is truly anybody’s to lose.

My heart wants to say Barty. Started the first week slow but has worked into incredible form beating Krejcikova far easier than I thought for a recent slam champ and then Tomljanovic. Loves grass and I think finally cracking the QF mark has helped her confidence.

Kerber is on fire. 10 straight match wins after winning a grass title coming into the tournament. Her and Barty are tied at 2-2 but their game styles are so different, she could knock Ash out and if she does I’d favour her over Pliskova and Sabalenka.

Speaking of, Pliskova. Finally broke her rather poor form from this year and coach Sasha Baijin has yet another player in a slam SF. She’s played Sabalenka twice, losing both including on grass at Eastbourne in 2018 but has a shot after playing well all tournament without dropping a set and hasn’t lost more than 3 games a set since the 1R.

Sabalenka. She’s an interesting one. She’ll be the new #2 if she beats Pliskova. She’ll be happy she broke her lack of slam QF’s streak and could do serious damage against Pliskova but she has more of the pressure as the 2nd seed than Pliskova who everyone is surprised that she got this far
