I like Diegaa's smirk...it's like he's saying "You all wish you were here right now"
Nice pics! I'm gonna have to get out to Springfield more often~!~
some more pics
Sorry for the crappy quality but I don't have a digi cam on hand.
some more league match pics....this one was a heated match!
Hi just thought I'd contribute to this thread with a few pics from my recent X-Country event
Me and my coach lol
who are those guys at your sides?
(i mean the one with glasses and the shorty with the yellow shirt...)
I feel comfortable enough in tt tennis to reveal my face
I dunno, but the guy at my left isnt shorty, the thing is that Im too tall....
Great shot of your crew with Marcos.
Was it just a 'photo op', or did you get to know Baghdatis a little bit? From the photo, Marco looks like a part of your group, really.
Thanks on the compliments, guys.
Slice, Marcos wasnt as nice as Thomas or Marat. You see, he had just lost to Safin like one hour ago and was in a lousy mood. He said something like, "c´mon, kids, this is the last one (pic)". it´s reasonable, but he might had been nicer. i´m not complaining though.. Anyway, the nicest of those three was Berdych without any doubt.
Berdych always seems like a good guy to me so you saying that doesn't really come as a shock. His handling of the situation in Madrid showed that. Hopefully he can push on even more in 2007 (something that we have seen evidence of in the last 2 TMS of this year) and really cement a place in the top 10 as he is good for the game, both in personality and his huge game. Now if he supports Chelsea too, we really do have a serious talent on our hands
agreed. not in the last stament though .
I see you got back your old avatar.
Not the best pic, for one of the last tennis related pics I had... this is like 4 months ago.
That place looks awesome Andres. I´d kill to be able to play tennis at night with a friend on any surface!
Yeah, playing at nights, and totally alone, without screaming, or any noise is fantastic!!
With the currency exchange, that courts costs around 4.5 american dollars an hour.
Now I´m REALLY jealous! Over here the best price I´ve managed to find is something along the lines of $20/hour.
Drakulie, nice pics! I like the first one where you are serving the most. I like the palm trees too, gives it that exotic touch I love.
That's because they're claycourts.
Hardcourts cost around... 1.75 american dollars, after the currency conversion... and sometimes you can get them for free, if they're not booked for a long time..
my mental picture of you was very different. i imagined you redhaired.
LOL!!! hmm nope.. I've never been ginger
Sorry to disappoint
Some pics of my serve.
Too bad you can only see my back....
about a year and a half ago haha
Here's me playing with a guy from Ecuador back in the States. (I'm in the front)
i envy your manly height
man i wish i was 5 '11
5'9 aint good enuf for me
Thats a really nice place, the courts, the trees...nice.
How much $$$ you pay to play there?
This is a cool court too, freshly resurfaced. And its free if you're staying at the Hanalei Bay Resort.
replace the hard for clay.... and then it would be perfect.
I'm jealous of that court.
One mishit shot, and you'll be searching through that hedge for days!
Any court to me looks fantastic considering I don't have a single one with people willing to play within an hours drive. That one looks amazing though, Monte Carlo eat your heart out!
lol if anyone has ever done this, i think youll get what i mean, but ive been laughing by myself here for a while now remembering one day when i woke up and my hair was just insane upwards and just huge.
i dont know if i should post this picture, its about 4 years old, i was cleaning up my computer and i ran accross it and i think i look like i'm not having too much fun with the strange doo ahah
i think its one of those pics you just go up to the mirror and take because you dont believe how weird your hair is.
anyways, if anyone wants to see it and get a good laugh at my crazy a** look, teach me how to post and i will.
lol not that long! and i look scared in the picture, dont know why, or maybe just dead, i dunno, i cant even judge my own face, im bad at looking and discerning emotion. mayb someone here can tell me what i was thinking.
just the overall thing looks weird i cant explain. its mixture of a runaway jail breaker driving around arizona, stopping at a gas station and taking a peek in the mirror in the bathroom. ive been having fun with it for some 10 minutes now. showed my girlfriend, she cant believe its me ahhaha.
yours gotta be a wig lol. and how do i post the darn thing?
hahaha nope that was natural.. It was a couple of years back mind you but yeh that was just it normal but messed up.
As to how to post it just go to www.imageshack.us and upload your pic then post the link.
Power, why do you need more than 3 racquets alltogether?
i am back lol. i cant resist this forum. its starting to become a slight addiction.
well, i just like to carry them all, but the main reason is because the guy who trains me and did all my customizing, stringing as a junior lives there, so he's gonna restring them for me!
we're going to hit during the tournament, and hes going to go to watch me play so we can train after, and i'll have to decide if i'm really going to switch to the n6.1's or go back to the prestiges. thats really the main reason im taking them all, the restringing.
I paid nothing My rotary club back home used to rent it out for exchange student gatherings and we could play tennis. You should see the building! (it's a YMCA) The place is pretty much a giant castle with an olympic pool and tennis courts.
We <3 PC
We<3 each other blurry or not.
I like picture threads. Just cool to see who everyone really is in real life. Anyway, this is who Robbie_1988 really is...
well, my camera was stolen a while ago, but i recently found some pics of me from different sports, (oddly, no tennis )
i'll have to upload the others on Photobucket in the near future.
Robbie, is your thumb always up when you hit you backhand?
Ah no. That's an old picture about 2 years ago. When I first started playing tennis I tend to have my thumb directly along the grip when I hit the backhand. But over the last year I've removed that little habit and i'm holding the racket the conventional way now for every topspin backhand that I hit.
For the first two years of tennis, my single handed backhand was actually my stronger wing and better than my forehand by far. But now the forehand wing has really overshadowed the backhand. It was a pleasure playing in the early days as everyone would usually aim for the backhand seeing as it was most people's weaker side.
I'd just keep killing it down the line.
