If Nadal gets Berrettini in his half, then A.
If Fed happens to beat either Nadal or Djokovic, then also A.
If Djokovic wins, then again A.

If Fed loses, then B.
If Nadal makes a deep run, then also B.
If Djokovic makes a deep run, then again B.

If Fed gets a single night match, then C.
If Nadal loses the final, then also C; we can't have that extra day of rest ruining things.
If the AO organizers pull an RG in Djokovic's semi, then again C.

If Fed plays under a roof, then D.
If Nadal plays under a roof, then also D.
If Djokovic plays under a roof, then again D.

If when a women's match is played, then E.

Some people will whine about who the crowd cheer for.

Those who don't cheer for a certain player will be labelled disgusting and disgraceful.

it’s not about cheering for a specific player, it’s about not being disrespectful towards those players that are against your favorite just for this reason

But honestly it is not just against Fed this happens. It happens in any match this "supposed" person is playing. Do you recall USO against Wawa?

So it seems to be aimed at one person and not coming from just one fan base.

I think the A-D options are more restricted to certain fanbases

but TTW’s dislike for WTA is almost universal, so my vote goes to D

yes, I don’t know what to answer you, really. I simply don’t understand this universal dislike certain crowds have for Djokovic, and I never will probably.

every time I ask someone and get an answer, they seem like really petty reasons and it still seems undeserved.

Djokovic bores me to tears, regardless of who he is playing.

To cheer for tennis I find boring would be disingenuous.

It's quite simple, many people like attacking tennis with flair. That's not Djokovic's game. He is a retriever, a great one. He doesn't attack and come to the net to finish and will generally wait for an unforced error, rather than seize the initiative. The fact that he then celebrates his opponent's error unfortunately does not endear him to many people. Yes, he may be celebrating his retrieving, but you can't cry about the crowd celebrating a Djoko-error when it's his MO.

Well, it is just classless acts and no other way to describe it. I dislike the tennis player, but it is disgusting that it will be silence when Djoker does the incredible things he does on court.

But if I had to guess I would say it is alcohol related? It is absolutely fine to dislike a player and cheer for the other player, but I don't understand how it seems to be across the board as Djoker has to be the third most favorite tennis player of fans?

again, I’m not saying you need to cheer for him
Why? I don't enjoy his tennis and would only watch it when he's playing someone I really like. I turned off the Wimbledon final this year because Federer was playing Djokostyle and it bored me to tears.

Honorable mention(s):

The Pro Federer crowds
Federer playing at night versus sweltering day (a more singular versus broad usage of your Poll Option C)
Some kind of Nadal malady not present before tournament but present during/after loss
Federers age or back
Djokovic alleged infidelity / crowd not liking him
Diamond Age Generation doing absolutely nothing

he gets booed even when he approaches umpire with an innocent question

he gets booed if he’s forced to retire

his rallies of serve routines gets interrupted by shouting or whistling

I will say, he does not help his cause by cursing at the crowd and other instances that turn the crowd off to him. But which came first? The chicken or egg theory.

For me it was USO fiasco when he was young. Maybe that cemented it?

Still though, it is odd when he has absolutely insane points and there is just silence.

If he embraced the villain in him though, he would get more crowd support like Med did.

Kind of liked his no wave to the crowd at WTF's.

I was so right. Over a month before the tournament starts and the whining has started already.

Lots of players get those reactions .. and they all bring it upon themselves.

Federer's servebotting
Nicholas Hilmy Kyrgios' mere existance
Someone tanking a professional match to avoid a H2H matchup that an internet forum cherishes more than the players themselves do
Handwringerers versus Optimists
An entire match thread roasting Federer in which he ended up winning in straight sets
Nadal's moonballing and returning from Mallorca
Nadals wedding causing lack of motivation if he loses
Djokovic's defense
Federers break point conversion
Del Potro possuming
Berdych being retired
AndyM being banned
Stan being simultaneously fit and fat

He beats your fave. Point blank and the period. This is why you and the 75% of the people that attend Djokovic versus Federer matches don't like him. Oh, and that he dominated and took away the mantle. I don't know why people just won't be honest when they come up with all these BS reasons, especially when the guy's records across the board are off the charts. You probably would feel better after getting it off your chest.

To answer the OP's question, everything. They will complain about the surface, the draws, what someone is wearing, the schedules (ok I'm a little guilty of this one in the past), the celebrations (already started, read the thread), the sun, the moon, the gum on their shoe, the stick up their ..., etc.

the thing is, Djokovic does nothing wrong to turn the crowd against him these days - he’s extremely respectful towards other tennis players, towards fans, his outbursts are only towards himself and there aren’t even that many.. and as far as I know he celebrates opponent’s UEs only if it’s a really important point or if he displayed a great defense

And most of his fans are just as unlikable as he is. Mature adults say what they think and feel. Djokovic fans continually tell others what they think and feel. It's a reflection of your own self worth, not mine.

I like Tsitsipas and Dimitrov. That's 2 out of the 3 people who beat him in slams this year.

Everything which can be somehow related to Nadal possibly winning. Just today I was reading some of the comments from the threads of the matches in Rome this year, that made my day. Djokovic fans weren't nearly as butthurt about the loss in the final as some Federer fans were. :-D :-D :-D :-D

The fact that Nadal went from being a big slump (after Madrid it looked like he was not going to win any titles this year) to winning 2 slams and getting the YE#1 is especially great because of the reactions of the haters.

For some reason I have never been a tennis highlight guy. If I miss the match, all I care about is the score. Tennis highlights to me are so out of context.
It's mostly about having the chance to look back at the best points that the match delivered, whether the match was missed live or not. And generally I am not patient enough to watch something in full if it was already played.

Lol. I'm not a psychiatrist or psychologist but when someone posts 90% of the time about the player they seem to despise, and parrot the same excuses day in and day out, it's not hard to put the pieces together. You are just like those people in the crowd that the OP criticizes, which I commend him for having the balls to do, which is why you get so defensive. He beats your fave, and did it multiple times, and took control the game and you have a problem with that as do the ones in those crowds. Who cares who celebrates on a point? No one. Nadal has the most bizarre and over the top celebrations (DC comes to mind) yet I could care less. Your issues are obviously much deeper than that.

I can bet that the people saying that couldn't get their fingers out of a bowling ball if it were stuck

Is it just me, or is Stan looking a little fat around the tummy? He's definitely heavier than he should be.
That would be no problem. Stan is clearly out of shape and fat. Fed would beat him with little trouble.
Um... "fat?" Stanimal has a better bod than 99.9% of all dudes on planet earth!
Now where are those people claiming Stan is "fat?" Look the dude, he's built like a Mack truck.

Shame that Federer's supporters don't follow his example of likability, like us immature adults do it with our disgraceful provocative talentless pusher.

You are a Federer fan, so of course you have complained about court speed. :p Kidding...sort of...lol. Not surprising that I'm a Djokovic fan and complained about the scheduling. Touche.
Haha he has got screwed with the courts though. What are rafa fan complaints? Umpires? Draws?
