Here you don’t have to worry, please do post the most recent or your favourite racquet reviews from the past/of all time.

Whether it’s Tennis Nerd, TW or even self promotion...go ahead and drop it below and tell us if you think the reviewer is paid off and talking out of their butt(cap) or spouting absolute truth.

There are some really good personalities..
There are some really good influencers.
There are some really good content creators.
Some focus on quantity and duration over quality.
Some focus on making $ over topic at hand..
Some talk way better than they actually hit the ball...
There are some really good reviewers.
Yet few can tie it all these traits together for "go to" channel..
Basically it comes down to using your own judgement based on your knowledge of the topic at hand to which one you trust and actually listen too .
Broaden you horizon and your knowledge will grow.
I check out a few and value their particular work..

I have been pining for this racquet since I was brave enough to buy the 2014 Pro Staff 90 in 2016. I doubt TN was paid off, but I really hope he was because that would imply a forthcoming reissue.

TP97x is my favourite frame in recent memory, yeah this is the 100xT but the review serves it a bit of justice...Tennis Nerd wasn’t the biggest fan and there aren’t manny other reviews lmao

I think "paid off" might be an exaggeration, but for the more well known channels they are getting early access to what I assume are free demos. They're never going to be overly critical of a new racquet release because the company would probably stop sending them early racquet demos. They can be interesting to watch for the personalities and early sneak peaks at the racquets, but you've got to read between the lines if you want to understand the downsides to any new frame release. You can see the stark difference in the level of criticism when you watch a YouTuber review an old classic frame vs. A new release. They seem much more honest with old racquet reviews.

@konstantinos kalfountzos :)

Only 20k??? dude you got short changed..
Btw.... Great vid regarding the high/low tension comparison was top notch...
It's nice to see and hear what one already knows.. but not many are aware of that information..
Most are still still stuck in the mid tension theory...

You forgot to say posting before watching.

AC... You should have got 20k for your recent Blade review vs the others...

Yeah I was paid $100,000 by the low tension mafia for that. I fudged the numbers. In reality, higher tension means high power because all higher = higher duh

Tennis Euphoria is extremely underrated, anyone giving love to the Synergy 98 deserves a shout out
Actually, I tried to make my first attempt for a racket review with it. Very soon after having played with the Prestige MP 18*19 2021. Text appeared on the clip should be inside coloured labels for better visual result, but it's just a very first attempt.

If I was ever to get my hands on some new release, I would make a proper clip with voice overs - like I have done for some tennis strings -, rather than text appearing on the screen. But, voiceovers etc take a lot of time to do.

Really liked this review while I was researching the Vcore Pro 97 (Andrey Smirnov; former D1 player):

Also tend to like Karue Sell's takes. His review of the Vcore Pro lineup:

Another one I enjoyed while looking into the Ezone 98 (Team-Tennis-English; a former coach):

Also a thumb up to AC Tennis' comparison videos (e.g. the Ezone, Vcore and Vcore Pro comparison, or the 'Battle of the 97s').

And one more shoutout to TennisCompanion. Pretty thorough and informative stuff.

I really liked Gladiators reviews back when it was a pair of them with irreverent banter back and forth a la Top Gear/Grand Tour with Clarkson, Hammond, and May. But those were more entertaining than informative.

I appreciate those with obvious ties to manufacturers because at least I know where they’re coming from.

A lot of reviews don’t list specs of racquets they’re actually playing, they just quote TW which is utterly useless. Additionally, I might not be familiar with the string, so again most reviews are useless because a lot of racquets are decent but there’s no context for evaluating the critiques so the often subtle differences between frames (and strings) can’t be discerned without actually playing it yourself. So…make me laugh cause I ain’t there for information anyway.

I liked tenncomm’s ranking (a la Top Gear’s Cool wall) of various frame categories, e.g. 100”. Taking into account who’s playing it, personal impressions, how stupid the paint job is, etc.

AC Tennis - an Australian reviewer who does a very thorough review on all the racquets he tests. Have a watch of this review on the V9 Blade for example.
