Zero Backswing on the Forehand - Can't Extend Hitting Arm!

There is and it does zero good to know them individually. That only invites mucking it up.
Oh and I forgot to tell you, when you know it, you can hit Tiafoe-style one shot, Sinner the next and Djoker the next.
Well what is it? Why do you not tell me?

Ballguy has a whole secret program that can take you from 3.0 to Davis Cup level in 2 years. He co-authors it with Peoplespeace or something.

I believe our Ballman.

He could teach anyone in 10 minutes while spending 10 years talking about that he could.

Someone please let our ballmanguy teach them already. I'll help buy foods for ballman as payment, but only dog food though. This economy you know.

Of course I think a student learning might benefit from having it broken down more concretely than two steps.
No. That is exactly what makes it harder to learn. How many steps would you utilize in teaching someone to jump high? There are literally only two steps, post unit turn, for the modern fh. Racquet positions are not steps.

Dragy

Haven’t sent it yet. Getting my friend’s ball machine to make a hitting video for Dragy first. It will help to have credibility before he takes the leap.
Care to make disparaging comments before this all happens?
I’m waiting, back on courts swinging after recovery (y)

Well the unit turn only gets you in position for the stroke, much like taking your racquet out of the bag and cracking open a can of balls.
You can't really build a house without a foundation so I don't agree with considering the setup as separate from the downstroke. I also don't think pointing this out really changes much either - it is still uncomplicated on the and the part you say is represented by two components is still represented by two components.

Hate "pat the dog." That's all.
this intellectual appears to have found a solution for you:
If you look closely, not all FH's of either player are racquets parallel to the court, or "pat the dog"... that really is the dumbest thing I've ever heard. A coach at RCS used to say this all the time 10 years ago.

Why not call it the "reaching back to grab the girls ass that just walked past you" position... I'd buy that for $1.

You sound pissed I haven’t fixed your forehand yet.

I will pay you with that money, bruh. Wait by your mailbox, k?

How's your dodgy knees coming along? Dont wait too long or it will continue to choke off oxygen to your brain. Best, bruh

My knees? They’re fine.

You fraudster! Definitely should be a compulsory username change after reading that. :happydevil:
And, since that post, I have moved 2000 miles from my friend’s ball machine. No need for one anymore anyway, but I’m still planning on getting Dragy that video. I’ll see if I can get my pball playing girlfriend to feed balls.

Mate, I'm not worried, since despite your frosty demeanour towards a few posters, you also attempt to offer helpful advice. And you must know by now that I will occasionally attempt to lighten the mood around here, since it can get rather tense sometimes.

Anybody else had this problem? How much backswing is the right amount?

Wow...this is also my current struggle. Interestingly my back swing looks like yours.

IMO it is too short, compact and reduced power.

I guess learn to keep the elbow higher.

Any change's gonna make your game suffer for a while.
