I actually like that he doesn't freak out every time he wins... almost like he expects these victories to happen. In my opinion, it is one of the things that separates him from some of the other younger players. He has true belief in his own ability to play with (and beat) the very best. He's going to win slams next year.

After the USO ‘19 debacle, he said something along the line that the cool, not-affected look would be his celebration from then on (as a reaction to the hostile crowd).
I don’t know how you would argue he lacks showmanship: this is the guy that threw pennies under the ump’s chair at Wimbledon (or Queens) as an accusation , and dared Tsitsipas to fight. The other great showman, Nini, doesn’t celebrate profusely either.

Such a usefull skill. He can now spell the word “hippopotamus” when he’s writing a letter to his family as he’s roaming the African Sahara and doesn’t have access to a computer/spell check/electronic device.

I like it. It's just a tennis match. Media may want to make out its so amazing, etc, but Meddy is a pro; this is what he's paid to do. It's even more respectful at this time of history.
It's also preferable to the OTT celebrations of recent years which have helped turn tennis into WWF.
