Is this some silly partying from Zverev? We shouldn't forget he is only a young kid, even though I think he should behave more responsibly .

These guys have very abnormal lives from a very young age, especially the products of tennis dads like Zverev (which Apple autocompleted for me BTW).

If they’re being morons re the virus fair enough but otherwise cut them some slack. They’re not running for office and are probably doing better than those who do anyway.

Fed and Rafa did not have the gram to contend with at 23 either.

Never liked and continue to HIGHLY DISLIKE Zverev... If only his older brother had his talent we would've perhaps never had to deal with this ********* being on the ATP tour. I will laugh when a) he tests positive or b) continues to double fault

Zverev is a 23 year old MAN.

It's a pet peeve of mine when people infantatilise grown ass men, by claiming they are kids. He's well into adulthood, and the "kid" thing does not fly.
Scientific consensus suggests the rational part of a teen's brain isn't fully developed and won't be until age 25 or so. This means most 23 year olds won’t evaluate risk like most adults would. Just sayin’.;)

It also suggest people that think kids back at college will maintain social distancing are kidding themselves.

Does it? I mean 'that generation' has slam champions like Andreescu, Osaka, Kenin and Barty and superstars like Coco Gauff Perhaps don't lump everyone into one box, hey?
Good point, but not sure Coco is there just yet. But I could name plenty of women stars who have struggled such as Osaka, Genie, and Ostapenko.

But just cause some figure it out, does not mean it is not still a problem. Maybe because the men are given more praise for doing less. Maybe we should be giving the women more praise since they are doing better. Then again... Maybe it is a competition issue.

They've struggled with their tennis but you're referring to the idiocy of dancing people on tik tok and people flouting covid rules like Zverev. I'm referring to the responsible women who aren't out there spreading Coronavirus and are obeying the rules.

Yes, and I stand by my words. Those tik tok dance videos, and the time consumed on them is detrimental in my personal opinion. It shows how our culture is shifting in to a very self centered and "me" lifestyle.

Zverev not social distancing during this time is evidence that his culture does not understand nor care. I believe the selfie dancing videos are a part of this thinking. Very small, but it is the culture that has been developed by this generation that has people dancing on Tik Tok and people not social distancing. It clearly is a part of it.

There is a reason why the younger generation has zero respect for social distancing right now.

Why isn't Ash Barty being spotted out and about then? Bianca Andreescu? Naomi Osaka?

Stop putting everyone from that generation into the same box. Blame the individuals. Zverev, Thiem, Djokovic, Troicki, Dimitrov, Pouille. They range in a wide variety of age groups from early 20's to late 30's. I mean it's clearly not a generational thing, perhaps you could argue it's more of a gender thing since it seems to be all the male tennis players being stupid and ignoring the rules but i'm not going to say that. Blame the individuals, stop putting everyone into a box.

Of those you listed, who is under 24 and the only one to NOT social distance since the tourney?

Since the tourney? Why are we now disregarding the tournament itself? Who set up the tournament? A 33 year old, coached by a 48 year old who defended the tournament. Who didn't obey social distancing at the event? A whole bunch of players ranging from 20's to 50's.

As I said, stop putting everyone into the same box and leave it be, hey?

That explains why Federer played more care-free tennis with more risk when he was 23, then started playing more like a pusher around W 2008 or so.

Enough already with bashing these fine young men for wanting to live their lives !!!

They are not the only ones, look at the pictures from all over the world of young people partying and doing things that the PC crowd finds offensive ...

Do not blame them for wanting to live life in their 20's and 30's to the fullest !

They are in top shape, they hang out with their friends that (according to that picture) are in top shape ... they are not going back to their grandma's apartment after the party ... leave them alone !

"Flatten the curve" was the mantra !!! We did that ! Now what, stop every form of life ?

At this point in pandemic it is up to individual behavior, I wish I hang out with Zverev and his peeps but I don't ...

Instead, I take proper steps to protect myself and my family ... I do not care if Zverev parties all night or not.

Whether or not your characterization of the nature and/or change in Fed’s game is accurate I don’t think the studies translate easily to such specific conclusions. I’m guessing the most you can say is more general.

you forgot the lumping Basilashvili as a person who assaulted his ex-wife without waiting for the court decision
