zoom zero?

I have been trying shoes to find one I really like. I still play in my trusty prince t22 lites. I thought that the Ultrashot would work but the 10.5 is too roomy and the 10 scared me off. The Asics gel res 7 is too long in 10.5 (my usual size) and I am probably ot going to want the 10. It felt too cramped. Sooooo...I looked at the zoom zero review and thought I maight take a chance. How does this shoe work on hartrue? I want cushion and stability with emphasis on cushion. There is a zoom zero on clearence for 79. I don't care much about color is the shoes are really comfy. I have a pretty normal width foot but am in between sizes on the shoes previously mentioned. I wear thorlo level three with my ttlites and they work. Just was thinking about something different. Holler if you have a constructive thought.

Fantastic shoe in my experience. Somewhat narrow but my feet are narrow so they work for me. Exceptional cushion and comfort but not the greatest durability. Quick but not super light shoe.

Funny, I'm thinking about going back to either regular or the lite T22's. I haven't tried the Zoom Zero's though. Your post made me look at the prices and unfortunately there is no size 10 at quoted price anymore. I never really considered them because of the way they look, just don't like how the outsole goes around with that funky finish around the heel. But i need cushion and stability so was willing to give them a shot at a discount. Someone who tried both and could compare them would be great, so I'll be watching this thread as well.

I just ordered a pair in 10.5 so we'll see how they do. I usually only play on hartrue so maybe they will last longer. I can tell you that the KSwiss Ultra shot is a great shoe. I was just in between sizes. It has it all. I thought I may be able to wear a size 10 but was afraid of them being too short after I walked around in them in the house. If that shoe was not as wide, it would be a home run for me. Damn Asics are too long and narrow. They have the longest 10.5 in history.

I tried them out for a couple weeks, the cushion was better than any of the recent Nike offerings given it’s full length zoom. I really liked the cushion, traction, and support, but they weren’t durable enough. After a couple of weeks they were starting to tear. If you run into similar issues I highly recommend the solecourt boost.

As usual, each experience is different...as each has different feet. I had these for a while. Length is true as far as I can tell. Narrow for sure. But the dang squeaking really put me off.

Yea, that Air zoom cushioning felt really good. but only issue I had was it was very tough to put on.

The prince shoes in 10.5 are wide enough where I need two pairs of socks. Might might be the ticket. We’ll see in a couple of days.

When my foot sunk down into the plush cushioning, the edge of upper scrapped my outside left ankle pointer bone, so I returned them. Other than that really liked them.

Agree they are tough to get in but you are rewarded with great support when you get your foot in there. Love these, just wish they were a little more durable.

I’ve been using the Gel Court FF as my primary shoe, with Zoom Vapor Tour 9.5 prior to that. Tried the Air Zoom Zeroes recently due to Gel Court FFs being discontinued with the FF 2 coming out. The Zoom Zeroes has cushioning on par with the FFs. I like the booties like the FFs. Rides highers and forward leaning, good for keeping you on the balls of your feet. Love the Volt colorway. I’ll use them probably until the Gel Court FF 2s come out.

Damn Shazam! These shoes are as long as the ASICS and KSWISS Ultrashots. The Asics gel 7 fit perfect accept for the length. These shoes feel so good that I might order size 10 and send the ones that scare me most back. I am beginning to think I just need to get 10 in any one of these shoes and let them open up. I have had people measure my foot on those metal size things and tell me I wear a 10.5 or 11. Do these fit you guys long? I see Troy went a size down.

I put on my level 3 thirlos and I may actually keep this size. I ordered the 10. I would like to wear one pair of normal socks. But they feel really good width wise.

Are most of you folks wearing them in your true size (little long) and double socking, or are you sizing down a half and maybe wearing thinner socks...etc....? I know that shoes open up. I have these 10.5's that I am waring around the house and although they are long, damn if I don't love the way the shoe feels under foot. If they open up significantly then I will probably keep the 10's that are coming. Just wondering what your experiences are after you have worn them for a good while.

bam got the right size. I am a 10. Played in these today and I love them. I play mostly on clay so I hop they will last a bit. They are medium width and long for 10s. I probably wear a 10 in more shoes than I thought. No way these are true to size. If they are then I have been sizing my foot (and all who have measured me) wrong. I could probably wear a 10 in Asics gel but that shoe gets really narrow near the toes. I think I am really going to like these shoes. Just needed the right wize. I think that some shoes would fit me in 10.5 if they were not as wide...like KSWISS, BAB SFX3.

They are very tight at first, then after a week of play they do open up. Thats part of the magic, they open up to fit your feet perfectly. I wear my normal size with double sock. These shoes are by far the most stable and quality shoe on the market. The quality of material compared to all the other Nike models and even the Adidas models is amazing. It is so much better than the others. After using two pairs of zoom zero, every other shoe I try feels like plasticky trash cheap. I hope Nike keeps these for a while

I should say that my prince t22 lites are 10.5 for the folks that were wanting a comparison. I can wear them fine. They are wider than this nike shoe but a bit shorter. The 10.5 zoom was really long for me. I can wear these shoes with regular socks. I am guessing that some here got a bigger size if they use two pairs of socks, extra insoles, etc... Maybe I could have stuck it out with the bigger ones but I was thinking they would expand a bit.

The new K Swiss ultra shot 2 is probably a great shoe if you want cushioning and stability. The older version was the bomb but I was between sizes in them as well. I gave my 10.5's to a buddy who wears 11s and he absolutely loves them. I was a fraid to go with the shorter 10.

So a few matches in and I can give a better opinion. I will say that I probably could have stayed with the longer shoe and been OK. The 10 is fine but it is a little tight on my foot. Having said that, I will tell you that so far there is no doubt that the prince T 22 light has better cushioning for my foot. I love the way the shoe feels but after I have played in a couple of times my feet have hurt. I play in my T 22 lights and have less pain. I am thinking that the cushioning in the prince shoes is superior to that of these Nikes. For those who have played with both I would be interested in your comparison. I am telling you right now that the next shoes I will purchase, unless I find something that I don’t know about, will be another pair of prince T 22 lights.
