Zverev playing the gravity or just a PJ

Probably his old IG speed under the paint. Tough to say for sure unless somebody has held his racquet next to a gravity or seen the pro stock code on the hairpin. Very close if not identical—the throat is maybe a little different along with width of the head—to the gravity pro. Either way, nice to see him playing well in a major finally.

He actually did switch to the new gravity frame (grommets are the evidence) but it’s always hard to tell the RA...

Unless he’s gone back to it, at the WTF the announcers mentioned he was using the Gravity in late summer/early fall, but went back to his original frame before the WTF.

He then made semis at the WTF, beating both Nadal and Medvedev, so I’d be shocked if he switched back the Gravity in the off season.

So many conflicting reports on threads I’ve read and now on here. Who knows

To note that Zverev always used a dampener with his old Speed until he switched to the Gravity. So most likely he did switch to a different racquet.

So both Rublev and Barty use that IG speed as well under G pj ? Never knew it was such a great frame.

Barty is stillusing her old speed mold but Zeverev and Rublev they both using the new gravity mold. Check the grommets at 6 point in these pics and you can see the difference. Once you enlarge the pics it’s very clear that Zeverev and Rublev are using the same grommet design as the new gravity style (a little box which hide all the strings inside) and Barty is using the traditional style head grommets.

Not really. Yesterday he’s using the gravity mold vs Wawrinka. And I just post an explanation of Barty, Zeverev and Rublev their rackets and how to tell if it’s a true gravity mold. Right above this post.

Thanks tho yhere was no conclusion to that thread and it gave me a huge headache ‍♂

post #1, has a print screen where TTW confirms that Zverv is using Gravity.
Which doesn't mean that he is using a stock frame, perhaps he customized it further to his own preference.

Barty is using 16x19, that's why.

Well, 16x19 Gravity isn't a retail offering because aren't the Gravity only offered in 16x20 MP and the Pro and Tour in 18x20? So how would you categorize it? Custom drill pattern on the Gravity for her? To me, it looks like a Gravity PJ over her Speed.

Custom drill pattern on TGT344

Gravity is based on speed so even with the differences in string pattern it is still a speed that is NOT currently available to the public just like all the head racquets used by pros.

Custom drill pattern on TGT344

How do you know it’s a custom 16/19 TGT344? No evidence to prove that. Since we don’t have the rackets in hand so most of time we can only look at the high resolution images to identify what frame the pro’s actually using. So after I compared several images including last few seasons and this seasons, my conclusion is she is keeping using the same racket from last few years, which is an old speed mold, just change the pj to gravity this year. If you have more evidence showing that it’s a TGT344 with 16/19 customized pattern and old speed grommets, I’m excited to see the images. Before that, I’m staying with my conclusion lol.

He knows and if he says custom 344, then it is

Many HEAD proplayer frames ARE available to the public.
Can you give us examples aside from Gravity?

Latest prestige -- none of the pros using
Extremes - none
Actual latest speeds -- nada
Latest radicals -- I doubt.
They are all either previous versions 293.x, 307.x, blah blah, or way back versions like PT57A/E, 263.x, etc.
So, I would not say that MANY of them used by pros are available to public.
of 11 men and 4 women listed as Head users on TW only Zverev's racket is available to public. All others are using either a custom drill (Barty's Gravity) or something not available to public any more.

I compared a lot of images from gettyimages, checking string patterns, string placements, throat design and grommets. It’s the same racket from last couple years. And also if Head makes a custom drill for a new frame, it rarely happens that head keep using the old grommets on the new mold. The new gravity line including pro stock (Zeverev and Rublev) has the new designed grommets which is very different than before. On Barty’s frame it’s very clear there’s no new gravity grommets.

The speed and Gravity are very similar molds.
Grommet-wise, I don't see the reason why not keep the old ones if the drill pattern is identical, which it is. Don't use logic or history with Head -- lately none of those really applies to them.
On the other hand, if Howard says it is the TGT344 (which would be Gravity), I will go with that.

examples:
Prestige: for latest one it is too early, but TGT312/ Mid: Cilic is a current market racquet
Extreme, 333: Struff, Davidovich Fokina
Speed, 339: D. Brown, E. Mertens, C. Gauff
Radical, TGT307: S. Stephens, (D. Collins), D. Novak

TGT344 is the code for gravity pro, is it?

I was not following Sloan for a while now. So, she did switch from the 260.x? I was wondering why is she playing so well ;)

Hey Man, Collins is playing with the 2013 Babolat AeroPro Drive this year.

TGT344 is the Gravity engineering code. So she did.
See #19 above
Give me an evidence that she switched or at least any source why you claim that.

For me even the throat part over the grip looks looks different than gravity:

ashleigh-barty-at-2019-australian-open-at-melbourne-park-01-14-2019-9_thumbnail.jpg

Looks like IG speed.
Gravity has very little throat space over the grip while IG is much longer and sunken.

Someone on this forum (thread) actually works at Head and has supplied Barty with her sticks. I would think he knows what he put in the box....
But you can think whatever you want...

OK, you know and see it better than the Head official person saying it is the custom drill TGT344...
Not gonna waste your time any more
Sorry you expect person working in a company to reveal all knowledge which is not available to the public for some reason?

So maybe quit the forum because discussion is the point why forums exist.
Discussion is. This is not a discussion. This is waste of time.
I tell you what she's using because someone who built her sticks said so (that someone is honest on this forum), then you keep saying something about pictures and questioning if there is some secrecy behind all this -- telling us exactly what every other player is using but mysteriously telling us lies about Barty...
OK...
