Zverev reveals several torn lateral ligaments

When Zverev returned to the court with crutches, approximately 15 minutes after his fall, his ankle did not appear to be swollen or discolored! I have sprained my ankles and nasty sprains swell noticeably within one minute of falling with bruising following in the next five or so minutes. I suspect that he was looking to "pull the rip cord" on this match as he choked both sets away and chokers usually look for any excuse to stop playing/ or to explain a loss. I know his foot turned over and I am not saying that it did not hurt but he acted as if he were in absolute agony, the kind of agony that should be followed by immediate swelling and bruising.... In addition, he later stated that the ankle had ligament/tendon tears but he did not specify how bad the tears are. An ordinary sprain of one's ankle involves tears, usually just micro tears and one heals in a couple of weeks.... just saying.

I had a very similar injury a few years ago playing badminton and my ankle didn't look that swollen or bruise that badly. I also tore several ligaments, had some bone chips and had a small hairline fracture. It took me a full 6 months with physio to get back on the court and over a year to fully gain my confidence back in my ankle strength. I always play in an ankle brace now. It was actually the milder ankle sprains I got in high school basketball that bruised and swelled up like crazy, and with those I was back on the court after a couple of weeks.

The thing is that Zverev will have access to the best doctors and therapists money can buy. With daily treatments and strength training, I am sure he will be back to 100% in 6 months.

Yes, he faked it. Look below for the undeniable proof:

Me too. I had ankle injury too and it wasnt swelled, but took me 6+ months to recover.

Private jet makes it a tad harder to feel too bad for him. Surprised at how many people don't seem to notice this (although plenty do notice it as well).

The private jet, equaling wealth, does not make one less deserving of pity or concern. Being wealthy does not make people bad. Don't be jealous and I'm not saying that to be mean to you; I just want you to see the big picture and not be petty.

I am sorry that you suffered such a nasty injury and I find it strange that you didn't have swelling and bruising very soon after the occurrence of that injury. I hope that you never have such a bad injury again.
