Zverev's green Head vibration dampener

think it could be custom for him but maybe they have a new dampener rollout coming, they teased a sinner damp before the AO as well
Did not hear about a Sinner damp. A bit odd since he doesn't use one, but why not make a few extra bucks off him. Hoping the green damp makes it to market, it's a nice color way and us tennis nerds always need little changes to keep things fresh.

LOL, some people think it's the existing Yellow damp Head sells, it's not. It's a medium dark fluorescent-mint green color.
unless you've seen it in person, I'd say that's a hasty judgement. The photo you shared in is the shadow, so it'll look darker, and we have not idea what the white balance on the camera could be set to in relation to the lighting used, so it could easily be the neon yellow one. Add some sun fading or something to the dampener if its been sitting around and it could definitely be neon yellow in person

Def not a hasty judgement, 100% certain it's a new color not being sold. You can watch any of his recent matches on Youtube and you'll clearly notice it. A close friend has also seen it in person.

You can clearly see it watching this match:

Curse the camera people who rarely zoom in on players equipment ;-)

Sasha has had pro stock damps for the longest time.

It's got negative SW, hence the prostock nature. Only works in the Gravity series though, which is why he switched from the Speed, due to Anti-Gravity tech. I heard from dr325i that this will replace Auxetic 2.0 in the next round of updates.
Thank you!! That really cleared it all up for me, I couldn´t figure it out!!!

But these are just the old ones, the "green" being the yellow one intended for the Extreme. Some people even call tennis balls "green".

Ok. Maybe you're right. I'm not familiar with Head dampeners. But to me that one is clearly green and not yellow (as opposed to tennis balls).

Looks different than e.g. this:

But it could also be just down to a difference in lighting in the photos.

It's just the picture. All colors of this damper are in the picture (even the very old orange one). If there would be a new green one, the yellow one would also still be pictured, just like the blue one which isn't available anymore.

Zverev has used the Agassi,Masha "dampener"..

I had the Gamma Red Eye,could have sworn that it improved my game. The problem was the quality with liquid and a silver ball, you got the liquid in your hands and face when the silicone was destroyed.
What a BS..not any improvement at all.

Neither winner at Miami used a dampener. Why would you want to dampen your racket? Many of the latest models have built in dampening.- I know, a lot of pros use them, but probably just because they always have.

I'm not sure why that would have any relevance for anyone. Based on that logic all rec. players should be switching shoes, racquets, strings, tension, grips based after every tournament

Some players like the sound and feel with a dampener and some don't, simple as that.

I don't disagree with that, just saying many new rackets have dampening built in utilizing foam, silicon and fibers. Your racket may not need a dampener. I have a Tecnifibre that has foam in the hoop and handle- -from the factory.
